“I have been having my hair done at The Salon for a number of years and so have got to know the staff very well. There is always a lovely atmosphere and " the girls" make me feel welcome whatever time of day. I have been " styled" by the same 2 girls in all that time. ( Both having been off on maternity leave at various times). Both have always listened to my style and colour choices throughout the years, and always accommodate them, but offering constructive ideas of their own..... Which always turn out to be good ones!”

“We were researching a riser recliner chair at at Orpington where we met Jon who could not have been more helpful. HSL are made in Yorkshire and come in various sizes from petite to Super Grandee. Most of the chairs will lift up to 25 stones and come in an amazing amount of fabrics including leather. The leather option although lovely costs almost 1/3 more. Jon explained the "fitting" aspect which is very sensible checking on hip width, leg length, height from the floor and 4 other aspects. We were shown probably 100's of fabric, we were offered samples and those they didn't have were posted to us very quickly. We have decided not to buy at the moment but if in the future I would not hesitate to return. The shop is very well appointed and I think there were 3 other lady staff members who were also very helpful. The shop also sells non electric chairs and 3 piece suites which looked very good but we didn't try any as that was not what we wanted. There is a VERY small car park at the rear probably only 3 spaces so if able to walk I would suggest parking elsewhere to save a tight 3+ turn to exit.”

“Caring Dental live up to their name as caring. I recently had a procedure done by Dr Bizhan and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. My experience with Dr Bizhan was amazing. He is patient, gentle and caring. I was so nervous and anxious before my procedure but his calming nature and temperament put me at ease. My procedure was a great success. I would highly recommend Caring Dental and Dr Bizhan for any complex dental surgery/procedures.”

On my most recent visit I had a small amount of lip filler as I wanted a change but was very anxious about overdoing it. Rowena listened to exactly what I wanted and made me feel very comfortable. “This pretty little place on the corner of Farnborough village high street offers a very different experience of beauty. The 3 lovely women who work there clearly enjoy each other's company. They are completely themselves, which is very relaxing to be around, and pretty unusual these days. They also care about being respectful and kind while looking after their client's wishes (rather than raking in money as fast as possible). It's nice to watch. From a nail treatment perspective, you won't find any glue, acrylics or drills here, they're treatments are kinder to our nails and mine feel and look much better for it. This small business is a vastly different experience from our beloved nail bars. It would serve well to book in advance. Thank you ladies!”

“I recently trained with Brow Babe for ombré brows. Teresa (the teacher) is lovely, gives great feedback and answers any questions you may have once you have finished the 2 day course. The receptionist Rebecca is lovely & the kit for the course is really beneficial and has allowed me to carry out treatments without worrying about getting supplies in for my first 10 clients.”

“What a lovely cosy place , perfect for families. Visited them with my family for a dinner. Staff was courteous and they don’t push meals on you. You can relax and enjoy your food in luxury of your time. We loved all what we order right from drinks , tapas , mains and sundaes . Fired chicken with Bombay spices was extraordinary and I loved the bang bang chicken with noodles the most. Will revisit soon. Thanks”
