“We’ve sent both our DS to this nursery over the last 3 years. The consistency of care is fantastic; same consistent carers mean they have really taken care and helped our sons to develop. They worked with us through any “leaps”, teething or potty training situations. The chef David has been amazing, catering to their dietary needs (vegetarian, no onion/ garlic) with a smile and enthusiasm. The boys over the years have really enjoyed each day and their time especially with the Montessori approach. We get verbal feedback at the end of each day (whether a quick brief or more detailed as required). We loved that the boys were taken outside to the green common next door whenever feasible and were exposed weekly to music afternoons and exercise / sport sessions. They come back having painted, played, read books, learnt about culture and everything in between. The carers have been amazing - Kim, Rosa, Camilla, Lucy, Tiana, Prima, Cara, Leena, and recently Saheeda - we’ve known most of these over the last 3 years if not all of them (and they are still there!) - that consistency of presence and care has been incredible in providing a “second home” to our children. They know our boys, and saw them grow up from less than 12 months of age to 3 years. It was a really warming and caring environment which helped nurture our sons at such a young age. The love given to them (even at their worst times) was and has been invaluable. We’ve (all of us) had a truly happy experience with the fortune green team. From our perspective and from what I heard from parents at other nurseries, this is the one of the best nurseries in West Hampstead; despite others perhaps being more convenient location wise, or “newer”. Finally, this review has not come as a one-off assessment or as a new parent who recently joined; it’s over 2-3 years of experience with two very different type of DS. “From the very first visit, I had that wonderful feeling that Sofia’s setting was the right place for my son. Sofia’s home is a caring, fun, and stimulating environment, full of adventures and learning. The activities Sofia does with the children are fantastic — trips out, learning how to care for each other, playing and exploring, arts and crafts, and helping Josiah get ready to start school in September. The list is endless! As Josiah has grown, I’ve seen how the activities have changed and developed, especially during the time when the younger children nap. These activities clearly help prepare the older ones for the next chapter of school life. Josiah has certainly been well prepared for school by Sofia — from being able to put on his shoes and coat and zip them up, to holding a pencil correctly and using scissors — all while still having plenty of time to play and have fun. Personally, I feel that being in a childminder’s setting, where Josiah has been able to grow and interact with both older and younger children over the past four years, has been invaluable. There has been so much peer learning — caring for younger friends and learning from older ones — something you don’t always get in a nursery setting where children are often separated by age. Sofia, this is a heartfelt thank you — from the anxious, nervous mum on day one to the now very proud mum of a confident, caring boy who is loving school. P.S. Josiah misses you lots! ❤️”

“Wonderful nursery, staff are very patient caring and above all take feedback extremely well. They listen to any concerns you may have and are happy to do whatever they can to help your child and you have the best possible experience with them. They have an extremely flexible attitude and are beyond accommodating to ensure parents are happy with how their child is being cared for. Their primary focus is the child and honestly I cannot recommend them highly enough. Our daughter has just started and although she took a while to settle the process was fully child led and inturn our daughter has settled extremely well. Communication from the staff is fantastic always kept up to date on how our girl is doing. Very grateful for such an accommodating and supportive nursery. They put together lots of scheduled activities for the children regularly to enhance their learning in a safe and fun environment.”
