“6 years after a ridiculously traumatic experience I was convinced by a good friend to undertake some therapy. A different medically qualified friend recommended Catherine and her advice was duly followed. Following a couple of consultations we agreed to try the therapy along with the EMDR technique which Catherine practices. I have been genuinely surprised at the effectiveness of this approach. It's now 5 months later, and I am signed off. My background is as a research scientist, and I observe that I sleep better, am more effective at work and am generally far happier and function far better. Friends, including the one who recommended I try therapy, commented openly from the start of treatment that there was a noticeable improvement in my demeanour and mood. I had left this 6 years as I am used to overcoming pretty much anything that life throws at me. After undertaking this treatment I really do wish I had done it far earlier. Catherine took time to express concerns that there were some ongoing issues which may not be appropriate for EMDR; yet I have to report excellent results even for those ongoing concerns (more major irritation's, rather than traumatic events). We had seen the Jole one on line but wanted to see it in the flesh and see how heavy/light it was and how easily it folded down. Initially we struggled to get it up and down but once we got the knack it was perfect. We liked the fact that Jaqueline was patient and allowed us to put the baby in the pushchair and push it around to test the weight and how easily it moved. The order process was easy.
