“We have had an absolutely wonderful experience with Greenwood Nursery. Coming from a previous nursery where a serious case of abuse had been announced a year ago, trusting a new setting again was not easy for us. At first, we also weren’t fully convinced by the layout, as the nursery is split into two separate buildings. But in the end, this turned out to be a real positive;everything runs smoothly, and the setup actually works incredibly well. The staff are truly fantastic. They provide detailed handovers every day and post frequently on the app, where we can clearly see how busy and engaged they are with the children. Our child was excited to go to nursery every morning and absolutely loved every single member of the team. One of the things we appreciate the most is the variety of activities they offer. They don’t just stay indoors;they take the children out regularly, and they even organised visits to a local care home. This is one of the most heartwarming activities we’ve seen, benefiting both the children and the elderly residents. They also go to the playground twice a day, and at the end of our son’s final day, he came home with a whole bag full of arts and crafts he had made. Although our son is now in school and attends a different nursery for afterschool hours (purely for convenience), we truly miss Greenwood. One of their standout qualities is their openness: parents can come inside at pick-up, walk in freely, and see the children in action without making them uncomfortable or interrupting. This transparency gave us a huge sense of trust and peace of mind;something we haven’t found elsewhere, where doors barely open and everything feels much more closed off. At Greenwood, you can pop in at any time and see exactly what’s going on. They have nothing to hide, and it shows. We would 100% recommend this nursery to any parent. For us, it’s the best nursery in town. If they had an outdoor space, it would be a 10/10;but since they go outside twice a day anyway, I think they fully deserve that 10/10. Definitely give them a try. We’re so grateful for the amazing experience they provided our little one.”

“My daughter joined St. Margarets Montessori in November 2020 and we highly recommend it. Prior to her joining, we searched and vetted over 20 nursery's in and around the area and this by far was outstanding in all aspects. We never regretted our decision. The teacher's are highly qualified, so warm, genuine, caring yet extremely professional. My little one has so much fun and has also learnt lots. The montessori has a huge outside space in comparison to other nurseries we saw. The children are exposed to lots of activities and apparatus to suit all capabilities both inside and outside. We love the weekly updates with photos that we receive from the montessori and the fact that they have an open door policy for any queries about our child. My daughter loves going there and we love seeing her smiling and happy everyday at drop offs.”

The outdoor setting of this nursery is an incredible way to help children develop a love for nature, no matter the weather. “I had a wonderful experience training with Robyn and the London Meisner Company, having finished now I miss them all so much. I think the benefits of having a group to train with weekly can’t be understated. Robyn is direct and great at what she does, but she doesn’t cross the line into being harsh which I actually experienced at a different place I studied Meisner at, so that was always appreciated. She helped me see there were many more approaches to the work that I hadn’t explored before and I can’t wait to go back to masterclass and keep it all up! “My dining experience at Shuili in Twickenham was nothing short of amazing. The restaurant has a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere. We had a wonderful family dinner at Shuili. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making it a great spot for kids as well. The menu had something for everyone, and the food was outstanding. The food was fresh, flavourful and beautifully presented. The Burrata Chaat was a delightful surprise, loved equally by the kids and adults. Choosing a favourite between the lamb chops and the jumbo prawns was no easy task but if I had to pick, the lamb chops edged ahead with impeccable flavour, perfect texture and presentation. I would highly recommend Shuili for anyone looking for a memorable meal!”

“The one oclock club is like the dream backgarden but of your best friends house so you don’t have to tidy up! Your children can run wild with no shoes, get wonderfully wet and grubby and generally have a bit of a 90s childhood experience. There a thousand different toys to play and experiment. I’ve got a 4 year old and a 1 year old and it suits them both perfectly. They can explore the space independently and it’s the perfect size for me to keep an eye on them without hovering over them. We love it!”

“A fantastic place for you and your little one to get pool confidence. We have been coming here for over three years now, and my little ones confidence has grown so much, a total water baby! Lessons are fun and interactive with teachers making 1on1 time even in really busy classes. The facilities and changing rooms are always clean and the staff are so lovely and helpful. There is a great café with good snacks to chill out and feed after the lesson, and great to socialise with other mums with little ones the same age.”

“I set up my first fish tank just after Christmas, and Squires Aquatic Department has been amazing in advising me on the best ways to make it successful. I bought blue neon tetras. Fish, I have always wanted. Squires staff advised on how many to first introduce to the tank, when to add snails and shrimp. Great service. Friendly staff and knowledgeable. This will be my go-to store.”

“I went into this shop last night to buy some wine for a dinner party I was attending. I know very little about wine but the lady informed me of what to get and advised me very well. I brought a red and white bath organic, both very reasonably priced. When I took them to the party everyone loved them and I wish I got more bottles. I didn’t catch the ladies name but she was tall and pretty. I would like to thank her for her advice and if I’m in the area I’ll definitely be going back.”
