For me this place is a little gem as, since I moved to the area, I struggled to find a brunch place where they offer less "traditional" (and greener) breakfast options, finally I found it and I love the homemade hash browns with avocado and feta cheese! “I’ve been here twice. The first time, I got the brisket sando with duke chips which was very yummy. The second time, I got the smash burger with the mac n cheese, which was yummy too! My family had the smoked brisket and the lamb neck. I tasted those too and they were delicious. The food looked exactly like what was shown on the menu and the portion sizes were generous! Sharon was lovely and very attentive and provided excellent customer service.”

“Firstly I'd like to mention Shakshi. She is an absolute gem and lovely person. Since we've being dinning at Social Dhaba, which is now several years, she's been there and is an asset to the establishment. Her level of service, warmth and attention to detail is exemplar and makes our experience so much better. The food here is always on point. Perfectly balanced flavours and ever never had a dish that we've not enjoyed. We get a real variety of dishes from the menu, including the mix grill, salmon, basil paneer, avocado chat, garlic prawns, tardka dhal and some naans and breads. However, the best dish has to be the Handi Chicken curry. It's just amazing and a defo must. From the desserts, you have a selection of the classics, all of them fantastic so you can't go wrong. This place is regular for me and is always a place I recommend to others and take family and friend's to when in need for a really good Indian.”

“One of my absolute favourite coffee shops! The coffee is consistently amazing, and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The seating is super comfortable with sturdy tables and plenty of plugs, making it perfect for working on a laptop. The ambience is spot on - relaxed, with just the right background music. A fantastic place whether you’re here to work or just enjoy a great cup of coffee.”

“I was visiting on a very sunny day and the tea shop was not busy on arrival (around 10.30). By the time I had walked around the gardens, it was lunchtime, and the cafe was busy. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The cake was delicious. The gardens are beautiful, and there is plenty of space for either a short walk or a longer one.”

“A nice warm, relaxed pub with a mixture of patrons from young to old. Great friendly bar staff and prices are reasonable. Comfortable seating areas too. Serve Guinness, some ales and some of the usual beers, spirits as standard. Can't ask for much more from a good local pub!”

“Perfect Birthday Party Venue. The venue turned out to be excellent in every aspect for my toddler's birthday party. The space , the food , the hosting & car park facility. The hotel hall was perfect for our 40 guest list with one wall side fittingly suitable for decor as suggested by them. The food was top notch. The Lotus stem appetizer and Jackfruit Biryani were the stars of the day . They had arranged for nice welcome drinks and catered separately for children’s food as well. We were able to make a corner for kids play. The best thing was there was adequate parking in the venue which the guests really appreciated. They also had a bar facility but we did not use . Thanks for making the event a huge success as it was the first party for our little one . Would definitely recommend Ember & Mist as an event venue . I like to thank and acknowledge the helpfulness of the staff and the understanding of Ember - Mist managers.”

“Very good location of the coffee shop inside the Morrisons market, with a car parking. Wheelchair people are welcome too because they have facilities to come inside and the shop is wide. Breakfast, lunch, coffee, tea and snacks all day. The staff are lovely.”

“Halcyon led by Ashley did a fantastic job designing & installing our kitchen, over 6 month planning & 2 months install phase, we love the new kitchen, completed on time as per schedule and on budget; the Halcyon team who installed it minimised disruption and were incredibly tidy. Fantastic job!”
