“I happened to come across Snipity Boo's when searching for a hairdresser in the area. When I went for my appointment, Maria was there ready and waiting, and was so friendly and welcoming. She understood everything I wanted to get done (a big cut and half a head of foils), and at the end I was very happy with the results. She also did the small things, like provide hot water bottles because it was a cold morning; and tea and biscuits also. I highly recommend Maria not just because of how lovely she is, but also because her prices are much more reasonable than a lot of others in the area, including for children's hair cuts. Definitely going back!”

“We were truly delighted with the sumptuous decoration Larry provided for our son's wedding in Cambridge in July. The magnificent peacock theme was followed through beautifully in the chapel, in the Great Hall and later at the evening dance. “I usually don't shop here as it is above my budget but this department store is a fantastic place for gift ideas. The kitchenware and utensils are best to get during their Blue Cross sales days especially after the festive season and Spring sales. The store has 2 floors for home and kitchenware including home furniture. I like browsing through the store for on sale items or for gifts. For those who don't like hunting for bargains, this is a good place to shop. Customer service is good but there is often a queue for the tills.”

“If you're after food and drink, take the review score with a shovelful of salt. Most of the negative reviews are about the hotel, and the pub/restaurant itself has also vastly improved in recent times. We really enjoyed the food - a nice menu including some great tapas, all creatively presented. There is a nice sunny beer garden for the warmer months, plenty of TVs for sporting events and the staff are friendly. This is now our go-to local in the Tooting / Streatham area.”
