“Thought there were no good Cafe's in Swanley until I found this little gem. They even gave me an extra poached egg for free with my brunchfast because they lost a small part of the white on one, which honestly, wasn't even necessary. Good food, Lots of options (Breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinners), friendly staff, and friendly guests too. Will exceed your expectations, hidden off the beaten track.”

“Coffee Break feels like it hasn't moved forward from 2005, but in the best way possible. The decor is full of black and white photos of old movie stars (Charlie Chaplin, Marylin Monroe, James Dean, etc) and the corner television was running 90's music videos the entire time I had my breakfast. And the breakfast- It was beautiful. I ordered a Small English Breakfast and the portions were exactly what I needed. Don't worry, they also had a Full English. But the Small was a single egg, sausage, 2 bacon, a perfectly fried hashbrown, beans, and toast. For someone like me who loves English Breakfast but would like to move at some point later in the same day this was a great set. The service here was wonderful as well. My own plate came out perfectly but when a table nearby had a cheeseburger come out with less cheese than expected the reply from the waitress was simply, "of course, no worries, more cheese" and more cheese was added (as well as the requisite sauces). The Mediterranean and special fares are also worth trying out. The special is a Lentil Soup as I write and it smells wonderful. Overall a perfect spot just off the main road in Wood Green, and perfect for breakfast and lunch in a much quieter spot than trying more popular cafes down the high street.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch here, fresh well cooked food and a great charity. The Shakshuka was perfectly flavoured with an excellent range of spices and depth of Middle-Eastern flavours. Mushroom soup was delicious and the sourdough bread was soft with a crunchy outside. The Salhev (coconut creamy drink with pistachios) is one of my personality favourites - and highly recommend. The entire restaurant has great service, lovely decoration and atmosphere, and with excellent food!”

“Had a delicious meal with relatives. Relaxed atmosphere, many customers outside as pleasantly warm evening, we chose to dine indoors. We all chose different meals, chicken, duck & salmon respectively. Unanimously agreed that each dish was excellently cooked and thoroughly enjoyed. “Really good price of the family room, clean and spacious and location was great for access to amnesties and transport. Paid Parking available in the generic car pack which is right below the hotel. Staff were super friendly, especially at breakfast.”

“A high end coffee stop Have wanted to stop by a few times, but never timed it right till the other day. Staff were lovely and friendly, coffee was gorgeous - had an oat cappuccino, smooth and lovely coffee flavour. Plus a citrus cake which was also super tasty. “Visited for the Japanese cheesecake initially and to introduce a friend to this place as they are more local than me. Loved the selection of hot/cold drinks. Sat in even shared a table with other visitors which I thought was so nice and brought back the good times where people actually converse! Carrot cake was divine it was moist and tasty. Was there so long sat to near closing time! The basement has a really nice ambience to it aswell I'd come back again.”

“Very nice coffee shop within the court yard of the Oakland Rise apartments. It's very hidden away from anyone outside the apartment area. The atmosphere inside is a very nice, slightly industrial setting with an open floor area where small events are held. It was quiet during my visit, with some music playing in the background. The coffee is good, and there is an option for plant milk. There are also some vegan options for some small food items. The staff is very nice. A true hidden gem.”
