“I cannot recommend Springfield lodge enough. My little one has been going since December and everyone at the nursery have been great. So caring and really trying to help him develop. He’s been slow to walk but all the staff have been trying to help him. I saw a previous post saying the staff were rude and perhaps it was because she was not from the UK. I really struggle to believe that this has been their experience as truly I think everyone at the nursery is exceptionally kind and really friendly. It’s also very multicultural and they go out of their way to embrace all of the different cultures, both with the variety of food but also loads of little extras including the different languages and celebrations. I’m a first time mum, so didn’t know what to expect but the nursery have gone out their way to reassure me and it really is the best environment for my little one.”

“Star Day Nursery - Dartford is a great family run nursery with priority on top quality care and creating a great environment for children to learn in. It is highly rated by OFSTED and supported by Kent County Council. It has recently been taken over by a forward thinking management with a passion for all things education. The Dartford branch has a great deal of attention to detail and the small touches in the various rooms and garden makes it feel like home away from home. My 4month old son loves it! The staff are also very committed and enjoy what they do on a day to day basis, displaying their passion in the creative ways for the children to learn. The proximity to the station is also fantastic as I commute into London daily. Pop in and have a chat :-)”

“Been bringing my son to Angela’s Swim School at DGGS for 3 years, Elaine is always ready to answer any questions you have, all the staff are really friendly. My son enjoys his lessons each week, they are great with children with additional needs.”

“Recommend printmaking classes here as classes were relocated from Gravesend in September 2025 due to the previous centre closing. Really knowledgeable tutor who has taught me so much and it's worth the extra travel. The website advertising classes is terrible though and not all classes that are due to take place are advertised and some classes that are highlighted on Facebook are not found on the website. This doesn't help fill classes...”

“Excellent guitar school. Barry is an excellent teacher who teaches the kid in a fun way. My kids love him. Thanks to Barry my kids can play many songs on the guitar. Barry organises workshops and events so that kids can show what they have learnt and also gain more confidence in playing the instrument in front of others.”

“My boy Bertie is a lockdown kitten and sadly due to the lack of socialisation with other people (other than me) when he was very young due to the restrictions in place at the time he is therefore extremely attached to me and me alone, and can be difficult to interact with. Despite this, I have no hesitation in leaving Bertie in the very capable hands of Karon and Molly at Meow Manor. Bertie is clearly very content at Meow Manor and I am regularly updated with photos and videos of Bertie relaxing or playing with the toys Karon and Molly kindly provide. I know that he definitely enjoys his time at Meow Manor as I struggle to get him back in his carrier when its time to collect him (he prefers to jump up to the top shelf and lay down looking at me like the cheeky boy he is!). I have used this cattery many times now and would recommend it to anyone!”

“Eric and Linda have made my cat’s stay an absolute delightful experience for him. He had his own toys, treats and warm attention from Eric and Linda. I could tell he loved it! Our mind was peaceful whilst on holiday undoubtedly. What really has touched us is how helpful they were when my car got a flat tyre. They changed it manually with the spare one with their friends whilst they were having a birthday party! With the genuine and warm heart, you and your cat will get more than the service in chalet! I highly recommend ‘ just for cats’ to all of you!”

“My kitten stayed here in December, his first time in a cattery. I was a very anxious cat mummy as Dylan is a rescue. I cannot praise this establishment enough. Not only did they post pictures and videos on their fb page . But they told me I could email if I was concerned. They replied promptly to all my emails and constantly reassured me . I had one very calm ,happy kitty when I returned from my holiday . So much so that I've booked him in for our holiday in July . The staff are so caring and so passionate about what they do , that no matter how anxious I feel about leaving my fur baby , I have every confidence that they will give him the same care and love as if he was their own and if I have a wobble they won't delay in letting me know that he is happy and ok . They even let me come and look round and meet the staff before his first stay . 10/10 on every aspect of my Dillsy's stay”
