“I had breakfast here on a busy Saturday. I asked to sit in for a couple of hours whilst my wife, daughter and her friends shopped as a birthday treat. The manager (Nadine) found me a quiet table in the corner with a nearby power supply as I mentioned I wanted to do some work. They genuinely couldn’t have been any more helpful and I didn’t feel any pressure to vacate the table at any point. All the staff (including Abbie & Rahmi) who looked after me were great, can’t thank them enough.”

“My son has just finished his first year, I was super nervous about leaving him for the first time but I knew every time I left he was being well cared for. I viewed 10 other play schools/nurseries and none of them compared to the warm feeling at St Andrews. My son tells me about the different things they explore each term and how much fun he has had, especially in the giant sand pit. All the staff are amazing and you can tell they love all the children, my son especially loves his key worker Zoe and constantly talks about her! We look forward to returning in the new year!”

The receptionist was nice and the Vet was brilliant and very sympathetic. She made my family feel included, gave us time with him both during and the after he went to sleep. “The shop is full of hard to get items and doesn't serve alcohol. Great service and was very friendly, highly recommended for fresh and no perishable items from all over Africa and the Carribbean.”

“My child has been going for over a year and has developed very well and learnt a lot from the club. They're sad to leave when I pick them up. The staff are kind and listen to feedback, and have been very supportive while potty training which has made the process much easier. The food they serve is fresh and varied, they play in the garden and go for walks to the town library and park. In all, it's a great service and you get a lot for your money especially compared with other nurserys.”

My child was coughing a lot and needed water due to asthma and your security guard provided water and was just so so so lovely. I don’t usually shop here but because of him I will 100% be returning. “Shine Food specialise in being a global grocery shop, selling foods from all around the world, although there is a strong Asian bias, or at least that was the sections I was drawn to. There is also an excellent American section. Located within the Orchards Shopping Centre, the unit is very well lit, bright and easy to navigate. There are no steps or issues with disabled access, but I would recommend those that need reading glasses to bring them, as prices are only on small price labels on the products and shelves. A recent change is that the product descriptions now carry a flag of the country of origin and an english translation of what the packaging says in case you cannot read it. Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. With free samples of hot food being given away on their opening weekend. Most of the food sold here tends to be long life, but there are chiller cabinets and freezers too. If you fancy cooking something different for dinner or lunch, this is definately a great place to shop.”

“We are truly grateful to Chapel Nursery for the love and support given to our son, Hiniyan. He joined as a very little boy of around 1.5–2 years and, at first, struggled to settle. But thanks to the care and affection of the teachers, he soon gained confidence and started loving nursery.
