“Flew in for lunch in my friend’s helicopter for lunch with my daughters. Beautiful pub inside and out, but we sat outside in a lovely shady table. Great menu with a wide and original variety of tempting dishes, I started with lobster Thermidor crumpet which was delicious with a very generous amount of lobster. Had chicken Kiev for main, which was also very tasty, although perhaps a bit lacking in oozing garlic butter. Service was perfect from the lovely Holly! Overall, a sublime pub to visit, whether by land or air.”

“Beautiful country pub just outside of Cobham town centre. Small car park available which did get full quickly but there did appear to be some more parking available off the main road. Service was fantastic from Jarred. Lovely interior, food was sublime and the oysters were some of the best we’d had in a long while. Thank you to all of the staff for a great lunch. We certainly hope to be back again soon.”

“Gorgeous pub, nice service. I had the surf and turf and have to say both steak and lobster were delicious. Cooked to perfection. The chips were lovely too. Others had sausages and mash, smoked salmon sandwich and the ribs. There were empty plates and reduced chatter as we all enjoyed our food. It’s a ye olde world pub which has bundles of character. There’s parking there too which is handy.”

“Five star service and a five star place! The staff is very friendly, welcoming and we were looked after throughout our lunch. The place itself is really nice, cosy and it felt like home. We loved the food as well! We had the sausage, the pie and the cod and all was nicely flavoured and so tasty. It’s a dog friendly place and even our dog was looked after, which we will appreciate. It was worth our car trip!”

“Always great food! Whole family enjoy an “Ali’s” - a treat we look forward to especially in these financially tighter days. Meat is always spot on, salads are fresh and always makes food exactly to order. Delicious. Hubby loves the lamb here but I personally think the chicken is the best! As I suffer from word blindness, sadly I never know the right names for things! (My apologies for this) The food is always delicious. Top takeaway - highly recommend.”

“Stayed last week & just wanted to send a message of thanks to Vanessa & Elena in the restaurant. Both a credit to Hilton. Vanessa’s knowledge on the menu was excellent, she recommended the curry which was delicious. Elena is lovely also & made me feel like nothing was too much, she made me a coffee & finally…somebody who knows how to heat milk properly without burning it!
