“I believe that every experience is personal. We live in London and our son is a second-year student at Surrey University. Today, we found out that he went to A&E because he wasn't feeling well. The outcome is a severe infection, suspected meningitis. We, worried parents, drove to Guildford as soon as we found out that he was in hospital. At the moment, he is in hospital, and from his arrival at A&E to admission, the staff were terrific—very professional and caring. We could not thank them enough. When we arrived to see our child, the staff was invaluable and informative. From our previous experiences in London hospital wards over the years, it felt like VIP treatment. I was only there for 4 nights but was amazed at how hard they work and how kind they are to the patients. i was quite nervous to be staying overnight as it’s my first time ever being in hospital for myself and you all played a part in making me feel safe and calm. thank you again!”
