“Stopping by The Peanut Vendor never fails to make my day! Although they do take-away, it's definitely a more chill and stay-in sort of environment, making it feel like a little escape from the stress of the city. It's the perfect place to bring a book to read, laptop to work on, or a friend/s to chat with. With plants and doggos galore, amazing coffee, gorgeous furniture for sale, and tons of outdoor seating, it's hard to find somewhere that can compete. The coffee there is not only the best I've ever tasted (I usually put sugar in my coffee, but not at TPV), but also has the most beautiful latte art I've come across! I've been a regular there for the past few months, and have had the pleasure of getting to know each of the staff members and cannot speak highly enough about them: great people with incredible knowledge about coffee and teas! If it's not busy while you're there, I recommend speaking to them, especially if you want to learn more about coffee (you'll have a hard time finding a better bunch to talk to about it)! If you're lucky, you might even be served by my favourite barista, Ian (tall guy with dark hair and stellar posture), who will almost certainly brighten up your day! If you're looking for a good place to relax and enjoy yourself, I highly recommend making your way to The Peanut Vendor! P.S. The kimchi sandwich is peng af.”

“Brilliant!! Want to update my previous review after using this company again for the 3rd time. This company is highly recommended by my husband and I. We have used them on a few occasions for airport transfers and their kind, helpful service from South Ockendon is brilliant. We especially want to express our thanks to Kerry, Brian, and our driver Alan, who went above and beyond to help and support us when our EasyJet flight was delayed by 28 hours. They were just wonderful when we felt stranded and helpless. Would never use anyone else. It’s when things go wrong that a company shows it’s strength and Station Cars in South Ockendon (sometimes listed as AA New Station Cars) outshines the rest. Thank you to all the team. Brilliant, trusted taxi service! Don’t get confused with others of same name. This is our 2nd time of using this company for airport transfers and cannot praise them enough! Prices are competitive and texts are sent to give updates. Alan our driver could not have been more helpful! Friendly and punctual and most importantly for me, an extremely safe and careful driver! “When returning from a training session with a lunch time run group in 2016 I was unfortunate enough to become caught up in a tragic event in my local town of Walton on Thames. While running home along the river I was alerted to two teenage boys who were swimming nearby. When I arrived at the riverbank adjacent to them it became clear that one of them was in trouble and struggling to stay afloat. Despite my very best efforts, I was sadly unable to reach the young man in time and due to the strong undercurrents, he drowned just meters away from me. This was a tragic event and one I will never forget. Following this, Marcelle from Brain Reframe went above and beyond to support and help talk me through the events of that day. She helped me to ratonalise it and provided techniques to help me get a full night’s sleep. I am also not ashamed to say she also helped me cry for the first time following the shock of the event. While I am grateful of the tremendous support and work Marcelle did to help me come to terms with this, I the biggest thing she was able to help with was to not feel guilty. “This wonderful lady (Jemma) is a master of her craft, I was cured in a matter of weeks, I suffered for over 20 years with severe claustrophobia to the point of having daily panic attacks just at the thought of going on holiday and being locked in a plane for any length of time, it had literally taken over my life. “I remember the Reigate branch of the Art of Living back in the 1970s. A tiny shop crammed with well designed and beautiful essentials for the kitchen. Fast forward and now looking online for a good quality frying pan for my daughter’s 30th birthday, I found a good priced Le Creuset on the Art of Living website. What a great job this company has done in establishing an online presence without losing the personal touch. I was able to speak to the actual person in the warehouse who would drive the product to the shop closest to me, and when I got there the shop manager was SO informed and helpful with her advice that I ended up buying a different le creuset sauté pan. Daughter thrilled. If only all shopping could be like this .”

“We enjoyed our dinner at Thai tiger. To start we had duck spring rolls and Tom yum soup with chicken. They also gave us complimentary prawn crackers. The Tom yum was very tasty with large bits of chicken in it. For mains we had duck pad kee mao and the 'weeping tiger' (Thai marinated steak). Pad kee mao was tasty and had just the right amount of spice. The steak was well cooked. Overall a good meal. At the moment they also give 10% off for dine in.”

“Came here with a friend for lunch & was greeted by a friendly waiter who seated us. Has a very wide variety on menu & good prices. Good arrives pretty quickly & is very fresh & tasty. Good portion sizes as well. Waiter explained the options available with the skewers which was either 2 with chips or rice or 3 with bread & sauces. We asked if salad serves with meal & he said no but could order a side salad as well which was lovely & fresh. This came with our starters which was not a problem. When mains came they were served with a lettuce & raw onion as well as bread with a spicy sauce which made the meals very filling in now . Unfortunately we could not eat all but definitely great value for money. The only slight thing that let down service was when asked if we were finished we said yes & for the Fatayer to be packed for takeaway. At this point I would have expected the waiter to clear our table but instead we were left seated with our unfinished plates. Would have been nicer experience if they had been cleared away & not left until after we had paid bill & left. Despite this small let down would come back again as food was very good.”
