“Lovely community to be a part of. Great teacher and parent communication”
“Quite simply the best barbers in the area by far. Friendly banter whilst waiting and throughout. Family friendly if you have your kids in tow too, with a well stocked fridge that they can always get something from. Would give 6 stars if possible.”
“Come and see for yourself what New North has to offer its pupils! Rated Good by Ofsted and with great Key Stage 2 results, the Academy really has been transformed over the last few years.”
“My daughter has been at Creative Explorers since she was 9 months old and is now 2. She loves it! The staff are welcoming and informative. Letting us know everything that's been going on when we collect her. I can't recommend this nursery enough.”
“Best primery school in the world”
“I am a year 6 student at this outstanding school and I can gurantee you that you will want to send your child here the teachers are soo caring and the children help eachother and show co-operation eg: if a child falls down , students will always help and take the child to the first aid teachers on duty. it is a pity I am leaving this school and 9 times out of 10 I bet I am going to cry since I have been in this school from reception”
“I have been so grateful for the fantastic support and guidance that Diana provided in the sale of our flat. Due to increasingly onerous buildings regulations on leasehold properties and liaising with a busy management agency the sale process was longer and more complex than expected. Diana consistently kept us informed and updated throughout the process.”
“A big thank you to the all team in totstars! We organised our daughter 4th birthday party and we had an amazing experience. Kids enjoyed the staying... there was music, lots of decorations and party food was good and fresh. Our daughter has amazing memories about her party and great time with her friend in Totstar.... I would recommend it to anyone!!! A big thank you to Carla-Maria for being so supportive and understanding. Party was spot on!!!!!”
“Hampton Hill Nursery School is the most nurturing and thoughtful nursery and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. We adore it and both my boys are so happy there. The staff are so kind and caring, the activities so well thought out and it really feels like a home from home for my boys. Plus it recently received Ofsted outstanding award with nothing to improve on which doesn’t get better than that.”
“This is a very good school. I am Farouk Tachour.”
“We moved our daughter here from another nursery and the staff were very good during the change. She enjoys herself there and clearly likes being with the staff. They have also been very good on supporting with things like potty training.”
“Very good school..underrated excellence”
“I have been in Deansfiald since Nursary & now im in year 6. There are 2 big words that i have to say about this School. Its a GAME CHANGER!”
“As a teacher of the school I feel very happy with the way I am supported by the management and the community. Lovely environment.”
“Very helpful staff, lovely pharmacist who seems to be on all the time poor chap, but I guess he owns the place.”
“What a find! I booked in the morning, and within a few hours Krina had welcomed me, cleaned out my ears without fuss. Great service!”
“Lovely church, with nice people”
“Fantastic school with great leadership. Always putting the children first. If you’re looking for a school to send your children I recommend you visit St Joseph’s and see for yourself what a great job they do there.”
“Good facilities with friendly staff and Paul at reception is amazing. I attend Hampton sometimes for badminton and the atmosphere is great and the coach Mannie is fantastic. They have 4 courts inside the sports hall.”
“Absolutely fantastic Scout group run by brilliant leaders.”
“Great structured learning for children. Teachers who actually care about the school and the children. Amazing grounds.”
“Now that I'm in Year 10 looking back this was a fantastic primary school and gave me a good start to life. Good Facilities, Great teachers. All around great primary school”
“Lovely considerate place for tiny babies all the way up to 5 or 6.”
“We took our puppy to Hearts and Hounds for a groom with Nessy, and she was amazing! She was so gentle and kind, and our pup came out looking (and smelling!) incredible. You can tell Nessy really loves what she does. We’ll definitely be back”
“Nice and cool place. Here you can find a number of activities like dance class, cricket class, boxing, karate classes, football lessons as well and so on. In the reception area you can buy a refreshments thing for yourself. Overall, it was a good experience Thanks”
“A few weeks back I was collecting my daughter from her classes in the centre and I purposely arrived a little earlier so that I would have time for my mid day prayer. I asked the lady at reception if the centre had a religious room. She was a little unhelpful and abrupt with an immediate no without apology. Not long after an absolute lovely gentleman by the name of Joe asked if I just needed a room which I replied yes he then guided me to a back room that had very dim beautiful lighting and only housed a ping pong table. I was so grateful. Just that small act of consideration and kindness made all the difference and immediately changed my mind about my initial interaction with the receptionist. Again thank you so much Joe. Your kindness went a very long way.”
“We checked out quite a few nurseries in the area (some had spider webs to begin with!) and BH Bromley stood out by its professional and friendly team and how they look after the place that was renovated in recent years. It also comes with friendly hours that suit our busy day jobs. Nikki, Natasha and team have gone extra mile to accommodate our boy when we had to switch him to full time. They had his well-being at the centre of considerations. It was nice to see that staff (too many names to thank) from different rooms all work as one team supporting each other and they genuinely love spending time with children. Our boy finishes chef Nikki’s food every day! As parents we can get on with our day without worrying about our son. Everyone acts as the key person as they all knew how the day went for our boy when we picked him up. We just had a Mother’s Day tea. Being two daddies, it really felt no difference at all and that all parents are welcome and it was so lovely to chat to many.”
“We joined PGP two years ago when our eldest started in Y3, moving from the state sector, and we loved it so much we moved our younger son in Y2 last year rather than wait another year. We looked at numerous local private schools and felt that this hidden gem was ideal for our sons. It’s rigorous enough to satisfy our learning expectations without creating a stressful environment for the boys. The small class sizes mean teachers can really get to know their students and, in turn, children feel nurtured and valued. With subjects, such as English and Maths, streamed in KS2 so that the children are in even smaller groups, so much more, effective, learning is possible without a noisy environment to contend against. Given its size all the children and teachers know each other and there really is a great community feel when one attends assemblies or performances. We have been nothing but impressed by the school, this ranges from admin staff to teachers. There is a constant “can do” positive attitude that permeates it’s culture and I have found that there is clear and prompt communication between the school and parents. For example, pre-Corona, parents were allowed to come in on Friday mornings, during registration, to look through their children’s books and teachers are happy to give feedback/ suggestions throughout the term so the first you hear about any issues will not be at parents’ evening. We were particularly blown away by the way in which the school responded and adapted to the pressures put upon it as a result of Covid-19, especially when compared against other private schools offering nothing near the level we enjoyed. What a rollercoaster of a first year for the Head, Mr Faulkner! Hats off to him and all the amazing teachers! Teaching continued throughout the period, using a variety of IT based resources. Every teacher I saw or heard on Zoom, whether form teachers or specialist, were exemplary in their interactions with the children. As we all now know it’s exhausting to hold meetings on Zoom but they were faultless in the way they taught the children and never revealed exhaustion or stress. PGP responded quickly to parents’ concerns and were open to adapting to suit particular classes. The traditional curriculum continued as did additional subjects, such as art, music and PE which all help round and balance the children and remind them that normally learning is in all areas and there was no reason not to continue in this way. They even continued with assemblies and weekly merit certificates to keep up the whole school morale. I was also impressed that they maintained their pastoral role, ensuring that children’s mental health wasn’t ignored. I see that they will be holding mindfulness sessions in the Autumn term. As with other private schools they offer great pre and post school clubs as well as additional lessons, such as music and LAMDA, that are organised through the day. We can only go on our experience but we would certainly recommend checking it out and hopefully you’ll be as impressed as we were!”
“No bully and the kids are happy”
“Great school. My son started there in OG (Year 6) last September and loves it. Kids are bright, parents are friendly and the teaching seems excellent. Doesn't matter what you are into (music, sport etc.) they seem to cater for it. Although it's a private school, it's a lot less snobby than some state schools - especially some of the Grammar schools.”
