It is really well managed and parents are kept constantly informed about the children’s progress. We were so happy to find Bowes Park after a negative experience at a different nursery, it is a very happy place and I would definitely recommend it to any parents looking for a great nursery.”

“My daughter has been at The Pickford since she was 9 months old and I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough! All of the staff have been fantastic and my daughter loves going to nursery. They’ve helped my husband and I as first time parents to understand the different milestones, set realistic goals and handle dealing with tantrums! The nursery has such a wonderful family feel to it and has helped my daughter gain skills, confidence and make fantastic friends (with the other children and staff!). A great, welcoming environment and I am so happy and comfortable sending my child in everyday. We could not recommend enough!!”

“So my son has been going here for nearly a year now and I can honestly say this is a really good Nursery. The front office staff are incredibly helpful and very polite and welcoming and very understanding. As for my son's class there have been amazing he loves to go there he's learning a lot. They helped us with his toilet training, and he was out of nappies in next to no time. I was expecting it to be very hard and difficult, but we did what they advised, and within a week he was out of nappies. Genuinely, if you're looking for a really good nursery, I would highly recommend you just go there for yourself. Have a look around, speak to them, and I'm sure you'll place your little one there.”

“This Busy Bees is absolutely outstanding. Our kids are so, so happy when they go and their development has been clear for everyone to see. The communication from the nursery is brilliant, even on weekends and out of hours and we firmly believe that they care for our children really well. The best thing about the place is that despite anything that may be happening at the time, the staff always approach the kids with a smile on their face and the staff give us such a lovely, warm feeling and one which entices us to bring our children there. Thank you so much. You do a stellar job and we are beyond grateful.”

“My child went to Le Jardin des Dyvrande from the age of one. He thrived in this nurturing environment. The Early Years team worked closely together and planned relevant and engaging experiences for all the children. I felt that the daily communication from the staff helped to paint a picture of what happened each day and I like how they all had a relationship with my child. The settling in process went smoothly and we were sad to leave when we moved from London.”

“Tucked away behind the highstreet, it's easy to miss if you don't know its location. That said, the facilities once you enter the building are very good, catering for all preschool children needs, with adequate staff onsite vs. Number of children ratio. Small secure outside play area on dry days. Pushchair undercover parking area and limited parking for parents that can get congested at times. Overall I well equipped nursery and attentive staff.”

The staff are incredibly warm, nurturing, and truly dedicated to creating a safe and engaging environment for the children. From the wide variety of activities that stimulate both learning and creativity to the genuine love they show for every child, it’s clear that they go above and beyond. “I initially moved my son from his first nursery (Monkey Puzzle in Uxbridge) as he just didnt enjoy going in and due to his speech delay he was unable to communicate his feelings but there were worries that he was being mistreated in that nursery as he would repeat phrases in a shouty manner that we would never use at home (why are you crying I'm here??? Be quiet! Go sit down now!) After deciding to move him to another nursery I attended Busy bees in person and shared my concerns with the assistant manager Sian who was at the main reception that particular day. She reassured me and arranged a tour of the nursery a few days later where myself, my husband and son were able to have a look around and we had a a lovely chat with Lauren in the preschool room about how a typical day in the nursery would be and how they monitor each childs progress again the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. After our visit our son was instantly warmed by the happy playful environment. He surprisingly settled within a week of attending. His speech, interaction and communication has all really come through as well as his attention. He has honestly been thriving here and although I'm sad he will be leaving the nursery to start school in September - I am ever so grateful for the staff especially Tammy for shaping up his academic journey from here ahead.”

“I was invited to College Green Nursery last Thursday as a visiting author/illustrator to share my children's books and storytelling with the children and was very impressed by the warm reception of very friendly staff led by the Headteacher and particularly by Nawal Filali Naji the facilitator of my visit. I was most impressed by just how settled and happy the new intake of 4 year olds were, and their enthusiasm for participation and learning. It is likely down to what I think I detect as the Nursery's environment of structured pastoral care and love.”

“Wonderful place! Lots of activities for families with under 5s! Staff are professional and super friendly. A lifesaver for new mums! Highly recommend!! There is also a nursery here. My youngest son attended the nursery and he made lots of friends and loved it! The nursery staff are lovely and the classrooms clean and premises overall were outstanding!!”

“I’ve been coming here for the last 16 years with all of my children. It has definitely got better over the years. The new under 3 area is fantastic, it’s very sensory with some great light features. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and the staff are very friendly. It is only suited for under 10’s, however they do have a SEN session for 12 and under on a Saturday. It’s great for birthday parties too and the birthday hosts are great fun.”

“I completed my work experience at Alphabet House Nursery School, Waterside Park, and had an amazing time working with the wonderful staff team and children. The children are full of happiness, great at interacting, and little explorers who are always curious and eager to learn. The nursery provides a rich and stimulating environment where children have many opportunities to explore, investigate, and solve problems independently. They regularly visit Thames Barrier Park, where they enjoy learning about nature and exploring the space around them. I highly recommend this nursery to all parents in the area. Activities like cooking, science experiments, and celebrating cultural diversity help broaden their understanding of the world. The manager, Humairah, is incredibly supportive, friendly, and dedicated to providing high-quality childcare. One of the highlights of this nursery is the “Stay and Play” sessions, which are fantastic opportunities for parents to spend quality time with their children and take part in creative and engaging activities. Overall, Alphabet House Nursery School is a truly special place for children to grow, learn, and thrive.”

“This was my old school 1964 - 1971 the boys play ground was on the left at the end of the long drive and girls and juniors to the left my wost teachers were from class 7 -9 but at class 10 Mr Williams was my best teacher this school had its mini swimming pool to the rear of the dinning area in the boys playground and still had bomb shelters Beside the play ground happy memories”

I have taken all three of my children to Kathryn's classes and it's the one class that I have made sure we continue when they started going to Preschool- partly because they didn't want to stop, and partly because I didn't either. It's a 'proper' music class, but perfectly pitched at children's capabilities at each age to engage and stimulate them. Highly recommended.”

“My son has been going to tumbletots for roughly a year now and he still looks forward to it all week! The sessions are really varied so he never gets bored and he has learnt so much about movement, balance, coordination and problem solving. Sarah and the team are very experienced and so the children are able to take risks and be daring on the apparatus and balance beams in a truly safe, controlled environment. The sessions feel really child-led and the instructors praise creativity, allowing the children to make their way around the equipment in the way that feels natural to them. I have really seen my son’s confidence and personality grow from these sessions and wish I had signed up my older one when he was at the same age! Highly recommend :)”
