“I recently held a wake for my late mother at The Queen’s Head, and I cannot praise the team enough. From start to finish, the staff were incredibly attentive, compassionate, and professional. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly during such an emotional time. The food was outstanding—beautifully presented, full of flavour, and served in generous portions. There was a fantastic variety, and it was all so well received by our guests—it disappeared in no time! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made everyone feel comfortable and cared for. I wholeheartedly recommend The Queen’s Head to anyone looking for a venue to host a wake or any special gathering. “Yummy! Good vegan breakfast available, and dairy alternatives for coffee. Only issue is that it is quite cold inside the cafe as it feels like there is a door open at the back so quite draughty, food is great though!”
