“We were searching for fish and chips it was like 10.00 pm we couldn’t find any shops only this was opened. We thought they are going to be grumpy because it was closing time. They welcomed us with big smile and they are happy to serve us. I thought maybe they will give leftovers. But they did it from scratch. Tasty, crispy, fresh fish with thin batter that’s what I like . Well packed in a separate boxes easy to carry without mess. They were friendly and generous. I am not a fish and chips person because I don’t oily, saggy cold and thick batters . I would say this is the best place for fish and chips.”

“It was Lunar New Year and so I decided I'd try Wei Dao and I took some fortune cookies with me too. The ladies working there were really nice. I have ordered from here about 5 times on deliveroo and the other day I finally decided to pop in and eat inside the restaurant and I was not disappointed . Food has been absolutely fantastic every time I have ordered from here and was even better for dine in. For starters , I shared a chilli chicken and fish tikka and they were both incredibly delicious , definitely the best things we ordered ( despite everything else being great too). All the curries and sides were fantastic . Everything was very flavourful . Staff were also very attentive and friendly . Highly recommend if you’re in Croydon and want good food.”

“I visited yesterday early afternoon and had a bit of a medical crisis and I passed out and hit my head in the first isle on the fridge… initially a fellow costumer heard it and screamed for security as I was still out. I came through quite quick which at that point the lady had already had an elderly man come over as well in which they both asked me if I needed anything and I said anything with High sugar like a coke in which the older gentleman went and got for me. Staff from the store and Asian man (sorry didn’t catch his name) came over and checked on me multiple times in which after like the fourth time he asked me if I would like to go to there office and sit on one of the chairs as I was still on the floor. They looked after me well and didn’t make the situation awkward at all. Even after I felt better and went to continue my shopping a lady that works there even offered to hold my basket for me in which I politely declined cause they had already done enough. I wish I knew how to contact Tesco head office to inform them of the amazing service and way this team treated me yesterday. Sorry I didn’t say it at the moment as I was still a bit dizzy/confused but thank you all for your help.”
