“Best cut in the city for a Toy Poodle, i heard about this place by pure fluke and now i make sure i travel from the other side of London to get my dogs groomed with Statham's. “CALLING ALL HACKNEY LAPTOP COFFEE SHOP TECH BROS — put down your overpriced laté and go check this place out!! It’s super friendly, has a view of the park, great coffee, food, internet, record player, and it’s warm and comfortable. And you’re funding a great local cause. Totally underrated!”
“Delicious coffee and great service but more importantly super friendly barista with great personality and chat. Perfect little stop on Essex Road for commuters.”

“What a place. Small, friendly, cozy, with lovely food served by lovely people; incredible value for money too!”
“Popped in as went for a walk nearby to break up a long drive. Lovely quaint place. We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). We ordered the french breakfast and the pancakes. Weren't sure what to expect but everything was delicious! Beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Homemade jam was a winner!! Chatted to the owner who has recently taken over. Lovely lady who is clearly passionate about good food and good service. Pinned in the map to visit if we are ever nearby again! Xx”
“Good food, excellent service and reliable, as in always seem to be open as advertised, rain or shine!”
“Lovely place with some of the best coffee I’ve had - intense flavour without the bitterness that a lot of the bigger coffee franchises have. Pastries+cakes looked really fresh and nice as well. Ambience is great, and the owner is highly invested and really kind to his staff. He designed everything himself, which I think is so impressive! A gem in the local area and deserves more recognition, don’t get your coffee anywhere else.”
“Their sandwiches are great, with a very friendly staff. Every morning they receive me with a big smile and one tasty sandwich. Five stars!”
“Clearly the best coffee shop, or actually a shop in wide area of Thornton Heath. Coffee is excellent, sandwiches too and decor is decent. Service is warm and friendly. Usually I get served by lovely Kaszia, who is very professional and quick at all times. Today Renata was there too, so what else to say? You've got some great team there :) All the best. V”
“Nice bit of food as always very friendly”
“Great little local spot. The Euthopian coffee is 10/10, much cheaper than your average Starbucks or Costa. The owner is really nice and accommodating. Didn't get a chance to try the food but heard nothing but good things! Looking forward to experiencing Euthopian/Eritrean cuisine on my next visit!”
“Coffee station at Rainham C2C station selection of hot pastries and Danish superb tasting cappuccino loyalty card get a stamp at any coffee station and the 11th hot drunk is free”
“We live across the road from The Coffee Trail, decided to go and order something as we felt super tired this morning and desperately needed a good coffee. Cappuccino and Flat white were perfect, and I couldn't help but notice the Banana bread too. My boyfriend came into the room and went "Where did you get those coffees from, they are amazing!" The Banana bread is incredible too. We will be back tomorrow morning, and most likely next week too :D Thanks!”
“An Italian style coffee shop. Excellent coffee which is smooth and strong. The cakes are really great and home made. Very reasonable price as well. The lunch options are paninis, sandwiches and salad bowls, plus baked potatoes and priced between £3.50 and £8.50. Cakes £2.90 Coffees around £2-3 with Americano £2.40 and cappuccino £2.70. This is a friendly cafe with outdoor seating and ideal for coffee and cake whilst out shopping or light lunches with friends. A really lovely addition to this fast improving High Street.”

“Super food, super service, lovely presented food! Their deserts are absolutely delicious, and the salads look at taste so appetising. I would HIGHLY recommend visiting here. They have a huge selection of food to choose from, ranging from a good full english, to and beautiful lasagne! Their is a fair amount of seating and the seats are comfortable. The staff are very efficient and waste no time on preparing your order. Definitely my favourite cafe right now.”
“Great cafe, full English is bang on, all items good quality and cooked well.”
“This is my favourite cafe in London. As a new mum it is everything I need. One thing I’ve always struggled with, I’d finding a place to put my baby down, when out and about. This place is ideal. It has everything a mum and a young child need. The owners are so sweet and inviting, it feels like family. This is what we need more of. We need less apps and internet shopping. We need places to go and socialise with our community. Also, it’s not just good for parents. My mum’s tennis group love it too. As the coffee is reasonably priced and good quality.”
