Miniature railway and a small farm nearby, can't recommend enough. We went for this year's fireworks display and it didn't disappoint. Well worth a family visit.”

“We booked Martin for our daughter’s sixth birthday party and he was wonderful. It was a two hour package which consisted of a 40 minute set at the beginning, followed by balloon making for the kids while they played and ate. Right from the outset, Martin was getting big laughs from the kids. I’d worried that 40 minutes was going to be too long to keep their attention, but I needn’t have as he easily kept them engaged (he also told me before starting that he gauges the audience reaction so if he can see a particularly young audience is having trouble staying engaged he can tailor the set accordingly). He was professional and very easy to work with. I’d thoroughly recommend.”

“Khalida from U-Floria made FABULOUS flower arrangements for our wedding!!!!! It was exactly what myself and my partner wanted and we are super grateful to her and her team. Our guests also thought they were amazing and were really impressed. Looking at the photos, the flowers show their vibrant colours and we are really pleased with the look and design Khalida achieved. Nothing was too much trouble and she also planned a second bouquet for throwing the bouquet, which was a thoughtful touch, so that I could keep the bridal bouquet. Khalida was also there to help me before I entered the church and both my partner and I are sincerely grateful for her remarkable work. We highly recommend U-Floria as they went the extra mile for us.”

“This place was 10/10, I did not order in store but I ordered from Deliveroo and I had to come and leave another review. This is the tastiest Caribbean food that I’ve had in Watford and I’ve lived here for 20 years. In fact, it’s probably the best I’ve had anywhere in years. The flavours were amazing, you can tell the jerk chicken came straight off the jerk pan, it was so flavourful, the rice and peas was rich in coconut, the macaroni could’ve had a bit more flavour, but when you eat everything together, you can’t even notice. The portion size was massive, it could easily feed two people. I also got a Jamaican dumpling on the side and it was so, so good, it was soft, sweet, and pillowy. I will recommend this place to everyone if you want a good Caribbean dish.”

“During our trip to Watford to visit the Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio, we discovered this restaurant completely by chance. For our arrival lunch, the four of us had an absolutely delightful meal. Both the children and the adults loved every dish. The food was exquisite, and we received a very warm welcome. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to return for dinner the following evening before the end of our stay, and we were just as impressed with the other dishes we tried. The quality of the food is superb, and the service is excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area! Christine , Nathalie & kids”

“A hidden gem! Had a lovely visit over the weekend, friendly staff, lots of places to sit and have some food or rest by the lake. Honestly it's more of a zoo than a farm with lots of exotic animals. Just to note there is no parking directly on the farm premises unless you hold a blue badge but not really an issue plenty of spaces on roads or if you are lucky within cassiobury park car park.”

“I had a really good experience at Jamaica Blue in the Harlequin. The café has a nice atmosphere — modern, comfortable, and a bit different from the usual chains, which I appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my order was taken and prepared quickly. The coffee was excellent, rich and smooth, and the food I had was fresh and nicely presented. It’s a great spot to take a break while shopping, either to sit down properly or just grab something to go. Overall, everything felt easy, relaxed, and enjoyable. I’d happily come back.”

“Can’t recommend this place enough! It’s minutes away from the train station, rooms are spacious, there’s air con, comfortable bed, good breakfast times, quiet and I left an item behind in the room and they were absolute stars in getting it back to me. Such friendly helpful staff, had a great stay and then helping me afterwards was just the cherry on top!”
