“Was planning on going to the popular cafe next door but the line was over 2 hours and so we decided to to give this place a go as the food looked good and it was busy but no queue. Very happy that we did as it was a lovely breakfast. The full English had everything you could want and was fresh. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict was lovely too. Amazing bubble and squeak. Don’t bother waiting in the queue for next door. Come here!”

“Gorgeous interior. Filled with warmth and smiling staff. Food is delicious. I could eat 10 sandwiches just to keep enjoying the blends of flavours. Soup of the day is always exciting. Herbs you have never heard of, foods chosen that compliment each other perfectly. When you order, you have to trust that you really are going to enjoy the food. The ingredients sometimes sound mismatched, but I haven't had anything to complain about yet. They know what they are doing! Very good hot chocolate. Not sickly sweet or too milky, just wish mug was bigger...but it's good for my waistline! Lots of comfortable furniture- like the Central Perk cafe in Friends. Lovely experience every time.”

Its like they understand the customers so well. The energy of this place just matches the vibration of your energy. Its in fact something amazing. In such a busy city like London... we need places like this where we can just run to and rest for a while, putting our thoughts together, wether taking notes or sketching or just doing nothing really. “This sort of coffee shop would not have existed in East Barnet Village (EBV) just 15 years ago. Things are changing, and for the better. Such a nice place to come and read, or talk with friends, or bring your laptop and do some work. The coffee is delicious (served at drinking temperature) and they have a girl who can draw anything on the top of it. A drosophila, a seal, a polar bear, a snowman, or a seahorse, a mouse, a house, even the big ball of hydrogen in the sky (the Sun), you name it, she can draw it. EBV is on the up. The only thing holding back businesses is the awful road - the road detracts from the experience of doing anything in the village. With time, this problem shall be solved. Elite cafe. Well worth a visit.”

“Very nice atmosphere, nice little cafe in the park. Good for after a long walk to go there and eat. Prices and portions are very good. Under £10 for roast lamb that was nice and tender. English breakfast really good quality sausage and bacon. I was surprised at the prices. Service was quick and staff were friendly. 10/10 will go again, nice and warm inside. Dog friendly, place was clean.”
