“I am proud to share that I have successfully completed my City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles at Uxbridge College, within the Department of Engineering. This has been an incredibly rewarding journey that has not only expanded my technical knowledge but also strengthened my practical skills in the field of automotive engineering. A huge part of my success is thanks to the outstanding guidance and support provided by my tutors and the workshop team. I would especially like to express my deep gratitude to *Narinderpal Matharu (Steve)*, whose dedication to teaching and deep understanding of the subject matter made complex concepts easier to grasp. His clear instruction and constant encouragement were invaluable throughout the course. Equally, I must commend *Chris Baker*, whose hands-on expertise and passion for the trade were truly inspiring. Chris has an incredible ability to break down advanced techniques and pass them on to students with clarity and patience. His commitment to developing our real-world skills has equipped us with the confidence needed to succeed in the industry. I would also like to thank *Dain* , the assistant in the Uxbridge College workshop, for his consistent support during practical sessions. Dain's approachability and readiness to help created a welcoming and productive environment where learning was both enjoyable and effective. “I initially moved my son from his first nursery (Monkey Puzzle in Uxbridge) as he just didnt enjoy going in and due to his speech delay he was unable to communicate his feelings but there were worries that he was being mistreated in that nursery as he would repeat phrases in a shouty manner that we would never use at home (why are you crying I'm here??? Be quiet! Go sit down now!) After deciding to move him to another nursery I attended Busy bees in person and shared my concerns with the assistant manager Sian who was at the main reception that particular day. She reassured me and arranged a tour of the nursery a few days later where myself, my husband and son were able to have a look around and we had a a lovely chat with Lauren in the preschool room about how a typical day in the nursery would be and how they monitor each childs progress again the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. After our visit our son was instantly warmed by the happy playful environment. He surprisingly settled within a week of attending. His speech, interaction and communication has all really come through as well as his attention. He has honestly been thriving here and although I'm sad he will be leaving the nursery to start school in September - I am ever so grateful for the staff especially Tammy for shaping up his academic journey from here ahead.”
