The lasagne and the carbonara (halal, of course) absolutely slapped. One bite and I was instantly transported back to my backpacking days in Milan and Rome minus the hostel bunk beds and questionable Wi-Fi. The pizza? Banging. The pasta? Spot on. The lasagne? A hug from Nonna herself. Now yes… I do question their 1,000-item menu, including a full English breakfast, burgers and probably a weather forecast. But somehow, this Italian-Bengali joint is a hidden gem, and the guys in the kitchen genuinely do the Italian dishes the Italian way. Pay them a visit. Support a local business (in cash, IYYK). They do accept card as well but there are some cash deals for collection which are great. The atmosphere and tables are like an east end cafe but the food is banging. Your taste buds will thank you and me.”

I have been ordering for years and it is consistently great. I am never disappointed. I ordered my favourite lamb ribs, you get 7 chunky pieces, they were fresh, meaty, well seasoned and cooked perfectly on the grill. Served with delicious Turkish rice done as it should be, the most delicious homemade chilli sauce which I love so much ( I must say my only complaint is that they don’t give enough of it, its too small for the meal). You also get a grilled pepper and tomato, garlic sauce, lovely bread and salad. The portion is generous and served piping hot. I just love Efes. When you think Turkish food think Efes ❤️”

“I love to taste Indian food, especially Hyderabadi biryani, and Hyderabad wala is a good choice for a biryani lover like me. The menu had a good selection of dishes. They have both veg and non-veg option. I tested their chicken dum biryani, keema biryani, and lamb dum biryani as well. They served this biryani with raita and gravy. Their food is delicious to taste. The one thing that is good to know is that their biryani is a bit spicy, so think before you taste it if you are not a spicy lover. This is a neat and clean restaurant and has a modern look. The behavior of the staff is good also. I love to go there again to taste their different dishes.”

The dartboard, mix of retro furniture, mosaic & wooden flooring is somewhere I'm definitely coming back too. My darts are accurately inaccurate. The warmth of this part of earthy London is still alive. The fact it sells rich home-made mulled wine next to Guiness, inch's cider and Pravha says a lot. Events space on offer too.”
