“So grateful to have this nursery in our neighbourhood! The owners/directors Caterina and Judit are a strong and reliable team who have the children's interests truly at heart and a very respectful way of working with them. All three of my children will have been under the care of C&J and their team and I couldn't be happier. The nursery building itself is a great space with many different areas including the art room, quiet room for stories, the stage, the garden, baby room, food and kitchen area and of course the main hall with all the Montessori resources. You can actually go inside for pick up and drop off which makes a difference when it's raining :) There is also spanish and drama sessions by external providers who do a brilliant job.”

“We had visited quite a few nurseries for my 18-month old and and were thrilled to find Crafty Wizards preschool which unusually for a preschool takes from 18-months. We love the format that all ages are mixed together promoting peer learning and the setting is intimate and personal. The staff are wonderful and really care about the kids. There are two gardens, one of which is a bit like a small forest school with a mud kitchen, which our little one loves. Since day 1 he’s been so happy to be there with zero separation anxiety. Highly recommend to other parents who want something different to the usual nursery format.”

Nicole and the teachers are fantastic at what they teach and really give the dancers confidence all the time. “Our two sons are currently attending Playdays, in the baby room and in the preschool room. We are extremely happy with the nursery. The staff is very kind and caring and most of them have been around for many years which is great as a lot of nurseries nearby have a high staff turnover. The nursery is very well managed by Miss Kerry and everything runs smoothly. The children have the opportunity to do lots of activities (baby yoga, dance, french, swimming...) as well as regular trips to the park. We would 100% recommend this nursery to parents.”

“Owls Daycare has been like a second home for Emily since she was 9 months old, and now, as she approaches 4, she still loves every moment there! Emily was one of the first children to attend when Owls opened, and the support she's received over the years has been amazing. As she's simultaneously learning two languages—English as her native language and Portuguese as her heritage language—the team has been incredibly supportive in helping her develop strong communication skills. Their understanding and encouragement have been instrumental in her language growth. The staff are warm, attentive, and truly dedicated to the children’s well-being and development. Emily has flourished in this nurturing environment, not only socially and academically but also in expressing herself confidently in both languages. Parents receive daily updates on their child’s progress during pick-up, along with photos and reports via the Tapestry online platform. I’m so grateful for the love and care Owls Daycare has shown Emily, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place for her early years. “I can not recommend Colby Nursery enough. My daughter attended there for almost a year and we were very sad to say goodbye last week due to moving away. Mary and all the team were absolutely fantastic, they provided a safe, secure and nurturing environment for my daughter to learn and develop. The garden is a welcome addition to the nursery ensuring they children have plenty of outdoor time and fresh air. It really is a fantastic environment for small children and we are so happy and grateful for the time our daughter E had there! We will miss you all so much Colby Road Nursery! Xx”

My son is always bring home drawings and creations and loves seeing them at home. He really loved a counting book that nursery made that he brought home. Really helped with his counting. “Natalia looked after our guinea pigs a couple of times whilst we were away and she did an absolutely fantastic job! She kept them company, provided a stimulating environment and updated us regularly with pictures. On one occasion, I contacted Natalia the night before we went away as we booked a last minute break and she was really flexible and super helpful! You can trust Natalia 100% with your pets and your home. We would recommend her a million times over! Thank you so much for looking after our piggies and home so well!”

“Great job, entrusting your baby to have their ears pierced is a big deal at 3 months. Rob did a great job both putting me at easy and piercing my littleones ears. Nice selection of earrings at reasonable prices which included piercing and aftercare liquid with instructions. I travelled over an hour across London but it was well worth the drive. Parking available nearby. Thx”

“My Son has been going to The Young Once since end of November 2024. When I saw him get off the breakfast table and walk by himself to the baby area, it was such a proud moment. He feels happy and at home there. This is the only nursery we have come across where the lovely staff has a big smile on their face at 8:00 am and same smile and enthusiasm at 6:00pm. This was so important to me. Kelly said to me you had the baby 9 months in your belly then a year of maternity and then you have to leave your baby with strangers, this nursery really gets it and gives our little humans all the love, confidence and care we wish for them. My little boy loves this place and when I ask him are you going to play with Carol. He has the biggest smile on his face and Carol is right, he can say her name now. I am so glad I visited this nursery and my little one is going to have amazing 4 years here.”

The owner and the teachers are kind, professional and very supportive to the children's development. They understand & apply true Montessori, as well as EYFS. The children really get good education and good care in this school.”
