“Went for brunch on Sunday without a reservation. Had to wait for about 10-15 Mon for a table for 4 but all worth it. Had smashed avocado and American pancakes, my other half had pulled pork. All was great and looking forward to our next visit. Menu was looking great. Felt bright and modern. Service was polite, quick and efficient.”

“First visit to The Fox and we loved it. We absolutely loved the decor and soft furnishings especially the 2 orange easy chairs. Our waiter even though young was really sweet and friendly. Service a little slow but nice not to feel rushed. Food was superb and loved the scotch egg. Very reasonably priced and tasty bottle of red wine. 2 course and a bottle of wine for 2 was £90 including tip. Will be definitely be back.”

“I have visited Salon 26 the first time today. The staff is very friendly and professional. The interior of the salon is fantastic! I have a short hairstyle and not all hair stylists are confident to cut it but Charlotte has done an incredible job with my hair. I've left feeling very happy and satisfied. Thank you Charlotte! “Had an absolutely fantastic meal here this evening. Food was delicious, perfectly cooked and nicely presented. The service was second to none and we felt truly at home despite it being our first visit (of many, no doubt!). We were especially impressed with how friendly and welcoming the staff were and our 18 month old absolutely loved it there. Our waiter went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! As other reviews have mentioned, the front of the restaurant doesn't do the place justice. If you're wondering what it's like, just go and try it, you won't be disappointed!!”

“I honestly can't speak highly enough of this place, a real gem of a shop with a very traditional feel. They have put carpets in the whole of the upstairs and the quality is really fantastic. We went for a thicker carpet in the main bedroom and it really was worth it although the other carpets are also excellent. The customer service has been brilliant and provided a very personal touch and the fitters were a pleasure to have in the house. Thank you so much, highly recommended.”

“Very efficient and customer-friendly staff. The food is top notch too. The Moroccan salad, Korean noodles and Belgian chocolate cake are delicious. My only slight concern is that there are no blinds and in summer this could be a real problem. That said, I’d definitely recommend this place. You’re unlikely to be disappointed.”

I felt so at ease in this salon, a special mention to Charley as she is so down to earth and a fabulous hairdresser. I am beyond happy with my transformation from snapping bleach blonde to natural and healthy brown locks. I could not recommend this salon enough, absolute 5 star service!”

The beer selection is great, and there is a fun atmosphere with the 'spin the wheel', themed nights and events. They are pet friendly and always have a great selection of music! Worth a visit.”

“Don Giovanni is the closest Italian food experience we’ve had since we’ve been to Italy. This little gem deserves so much hype and recognition. Their staff are also really lovely. Food were 10/10 with reasonable price and ambience is intimate and relax. Highly recommended and will definitely go back for more!”

“I have lived in the local area for a number of years and have seen this fish and chips shop operate under different management a few times. I popped in yesterday for fish and chips and sausages and was completely taken by surprise, the shop looks amazing, really really amazing. The family who run the business (Dad and three sons) were all working and were very welcoming. The menu has everything you would expect, and they still serve fried chicken (yum). The prices are as you would expect, no meal deals as yet - but they have only recently opened so maybe something for the future. The chips are delicious... really moreish. I heard once that you can judge a fish and chips restaurant by the chips and they were an accurate indication of the quality of the food. Fish portion was perfectly cooked and larger then expected, batter was light and fluffy, as with the battered sussage. Savaloy had the desired initial crunch while not being dry. I wish I had taken a photo of the place to go with the review. If you live locally have a walk past - looks amazing.”
