“We held my son's 4th birthday here on Sunday and the whole experience from start to finish was brilliant. The owners are so helpful, organised and make everything very easy. On the day I didn't have to think of anything but bringing the cake and balloons - they served a great buffet for the kids, cut the cake and packed it into the party bags. My son and his friends had an amazing time together and I can't thank the team here enough. Highly recommend.”

“Absolutely wonderful place! A large group of us needed an open,welcoming space with delicious well priced food & we found The Lounge! Nothing was too much trouble. We went 2 weeks on the trot as a large group they reserved the back seating for us. Such lovely ladies who served us. Friendly & caring! It's my new favourite place to eat when in the area. Thankyou ladies for both Fridays incredible lunches”

“Unbelievable food! Proper home cooked meal for good value 100% will be back for some winter grub. Good choice of drinks, wine glasses aren’t the best if you’re a wine glass snob like me but other than that can’t complain at all. Really nice pub we will be back. Staff are really friendly but had to ask twice for the bill and still ended up paying at the bar. Only negative to say.”

“Just wandered in after a lovely big walk in Epping forest with a good old friend, and I have to say, what a fantastic weatherspoons! Ordered a small freshly battered cod and chips with mushy peas and a leffe blonde to wash it down (lunchtime deals of course! £6.99?! Can’t say fairer than that!) Can confidently say it was the best weatherspoons food I’ve ever had, fish was perfectly cooked, fantastically crispy batter whilst maintaining a juicy succulent cod piece in the middle, and might I say generous portions for a small plate! Perfectly poured crisp pint to top it all off, what more could you ask for? The last post? It’s my FIRST choice in Loughton let me tell you that much :)”
