“I had an incredible experience at this kebab restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly — they made me feel right at home. The service was fast, attentive, and full of smiles, which really added to the relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. The environment was clean, cozy, and inviting — perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. And of course, the food was fantastic! The kebabs were perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor, with fresh ingredients and delicious sides that complemented everything beautifully. “Me and my family, a group of 11 people attended O Calhau yesterday for Fado night. It was amazing, my partner lives close by and it was always somewhere we wanted to visit. Food was amazing, the chef was amazing too, she was so welcoming. Being from Madeira ourselves, it felt like being home again. My family travelled far and really enjoyed it too! We will definitely be visiting again! First but not the last time. Muito Obrigada! ❤️”

“I absolutely love this restaurant and the wonderful people who run it! In an area where it’s hard to find anything beyond the usual mediocre takeaways or endless fried food, this place is a true breath of fresh air. The food is always delicious — the fish, jollof, egusi, and pepper soup are especially amazing. The owners are genuinely lovely, and you can really feel the care they put into everything. I also love the special promotions and events they host, which make every visit feel extra memorable.”

“Very impressed with the options for vegan and vegetarians! The service was also very good. I had the vegan loaded skin for starters, it was great. It came with vegan mayonnaise. For the mains I had the Viva La Vegan burger and sweet potato fries. Absolutely loved the burger! Overall I was pleasantly surprised on how nice the food was. I've been driving past here for probably the best part of 2 decades but not once eaten here. Glad I gave it a go, Tastecard really helped to be honest. The bill came to £43.23, we got a Tastecard discount of £15.68. So I total 2 starters, 3 soft drinks, and 2 mains £27.55 (£13.77per person)”

“We stumbled into Shere Khan with zero expectations and left completely blown away! From start to finish, the experience was phenomenal. A special shoutout to our server, Basil, who made our visit extra special. His service was warm, attentive, and seamless — truly a credit to the restaurant. We kicked things off with the Pani Puri, and wow… what an experience! The theatrical smoke presentation caught us by surprise and created a real “wow” moment at the table. Not only did it look incredible, but the flavour was spot on — tangy, fresh, and authentic. As someone who’s extremely picky with drinks, I have to say the Virgin Strawberry Mojito was one of the best mocktails I’ve ever had — refreshing, not too sweet, and bursting with flavour. For mains, we had Mutton Biryani, Nihari Gosht, and Plain Naan. Everything was beautifully presented and packed with rich, aromatic spices. The biryani was especially comforting — warm, fragrant, and generously portioned. We ended on a high with the Mud Cake dessert (served with ice cream), and honestly, it tasted as good as it looked — soft, gooey centre, with a perfect balance of sweetness. From the gorgeous plating to the memorable flavour and excellent service, Shere Khan is a hidden gem in Enfield. Can’t wait to return!”
