“The decor may be a bit dated, but this is the best Indian restaurant in London. Delicious curry, clean food, incredible value-for-money. The search is over. Go there.”

“We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary with a stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Borehamwood, and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we booked, the team went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their support and kindness—even before we arrived—set the tone for a wonderful experience. We stayed in an accessible room, which was spotlessly clean, tidy, and thoughtfully laid out. It made our stay comfortable and stress-free, which we really appreciated. The restaurant staff were outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the beautifully organised presentation made our anniversary feel extra special. Every detail reflected care and professionalism. Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay so memorable. We left with full hearts and beautiful memories—and we’ll definitely be returning.”

“I remembered this as being a not very good 'spoons so was pleasantly surprised. Superb Sunday roast (I had the lamb). Vegetables not overcooked like most places. I followed with the sticky toffee pudding which was gooey and delicious. Excellent food made better by delightful and cheery service. (Till receipt says her name was Connie). Will definitely be back.”

“Freshest breakfast in Borehamwood! Barracuda is known for lunch and dinner, but their breakfast deserves far more attention. I had the Mediterranean breakfast with sourdough and an iced coffee — perfectly poached eggs, browned halloumi, fresh avocado and spinach, seasoned olives, and grilled tomato. It’s by far the freshest, most balanced breakfast in the area. Most cafés nearby are just average greasy spoons, but this is on a completely different level. If people don’t support places like this, they won’t last — and Borehamwood will only be left with the bland, profit-driven cafés. This breakfast is being overlooked and deserves more people coming in.”
