“I really enjoyed the Indian afternoon tea at Orangery by Sapna. The Karak tea was definitely the highlight rich, warming, and full of flavor. The scones were fresh and perfectly baked, and the assortment of sandwiches offered a nice variety of tastes. I also loved the sweet treats, which were beautifully presented and delicious. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, making it a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a proper afternoon tea. Overall, a delightful experience that I’d happily return to.”

“Lively place with plenty of seats; outdoor tables are nice too. They have fun activities such as trivia night. The food is so-so but cheap. They have daily deals, drink deals, and so forth. We came for quiz night. The service is great. They ran out of an ale I ordered so they suggested a good alternative and even gave me a sample to try, a sample that could easily be 1/3 of a pint. Staff checked up on us multiple times, which is surprising given how busy they were.”

The food was exceptional from the starters to the mains — every single one of my Persian family commented on how delicious it was. Truly a banquet fit for a king. The service was impeccable, and a huge thank you to Mr. Mohammed, who was incredibly accommodating and made sure everything was pristine and of the highest quality. “We’re so lucky to have a lovely local Indian on our doorstep. Each time we have ordered from there our food has been 10/10. It’s so tasty, fresh and we’ve tried to order a different dish each time to savour the different dishes. I tried their mixed grill and it was out of this world. We even received some freebies as a kind gesture to say thank you for our custom. They so friendly too when you place an order and cater for all your needs. Tandoori nights is a favourite for a Saturday night takeout!”

“Tropics Grill has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat. The moment you walk in, you get hit with that fresh-grill aroma that tells you the food is actually being cooked, not just microwaved. I tried the steak plate this time, and it was tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly how I asked. The rice and veggies were seasoned perfectly — not bland like most places. What stood out the most was the service. The staff treated me like a regular even though it was only my second visit. They’re attentive without hovering, and they seem to genuinely care that customers enjoy their meals. Prices are reasonable, portions are satisfying, and the quality is consistently good. I wish more places had this level of customer care and attention to detail. If you’re thinking about trying Tropics Grill — do it. You won’t regret it.”

“You have to visit here. There's no other place like it. The menu is very reasonably priced, you'd find it hard to beat and they make really good voffee. My dad first took me here about 50 years ago. It has alot of history. On today's visit I tried the food. Chicken Curry was good. The whole bill was value for money.”
