“It was our first time here. My mum who complains about all types of places we visit for food said the food is "excellent". We loved the food and the portion sizes are huge!! Nicely decorated for Halloween, restaurant has a nice ambience. Staff are really friendly. Everything was wonderful. Thank you, we will visit again!”

“I’ve visited a few times in the last month, predominantly to grab coffee and work. The staff are always very friendly and last time I visited with my partner, we were given a free pot of Persian tea, which was delicious. The coffee (particularly cappuccino) is excellent, as are the smoothies. The food is very good on the whole, though I would personally prefer the bacon fried or grilled. Would highly recommend popping by for a coffee and breakfast/brunch.”

“Disability accessible. Ground floor entrance. Toilets on the ground floor. Staff welcoming and excellent hosts, they were very attentive and we felt well cared for.. Clean and well organised. The food is fresh, delicious, and has a good portion. We had more than we could manage, and they provided takeaway trays so we could take it home. There are lots of options for vegetarians. They will also tailor your curry to your taste, i.e., add chillies, make it more spicy or hot for you. The best bit was the trays that were provided with the poppadoms. The variety of choices and flavours were really good. Best chutneys and presentation ever. The restaurant is on the main road with bus stops, which is good. They provide takeaways and plenty of seating for cosy small tables or large groups. We went early so and it was not full but it got busier as the evening went on. One thing I like is to listen to is Indian music, which adds to my experience of the culture and atmosphere. However, the music was cheesy pop like Taylor Swift, but it was not distracting. Thank you for the complimentary liquor and chocolates at the end of our meal.”

“I've tried many Chinese takeaways in the area, and without a doubt, Wan's is the best! The food is always piping hot, packed with flavor, and made with fresh ingredients. Every dish tastes carefully prepared – from the crispy spring rolls to the rich, perfectly balanced sweet and sour chicken. Their portions are generous, the prices are fair, and they never miss a detail with the order. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the service is always quick, whether I'm collecting or getting delivery. “This is the healthiest take out I’ve ever had & I know that it is prepared with love ❣️ The freshness of the sides is mind blowing but the star of the show has to be the slow cooked meat, which is always succulent & the different rubs/marinades just add to enhance the flavour of great quality produce. Delivery is great & if you want to heat anything up it comes with instructions - I’ve done both & either way it is delicious. One of the great things to come out of lockdown & if I could give it more than 5 ⭐️ I would.”

“Lovely little hidden gem. Amazing hospitality and amazing food. Never tried waffle pizza before, its a taste sensation. Waffle really does bring out the flavours on the topping. “I have been coming here every Thursday for 18 years!! It started off as a treat when I was 11 after dance class and now has become a tradition. Seriously good quality fish n chips and goes nicely with a glass of wine. Don't listen to the 1* peasants below. They are what we call 'Karens' these days!”

“Charming restaurant less than 5 mins from Surbiton Rail station and opposite Sainsbury’s. The old Post Office building has been repurposed as a restaurant, fitted out in a sustainable way with genuine Turkish designs and materials. My server had a Masters in restaurant design so was knowledgeable and happy to point out some of the features. The coffee was excellent and the Nutella and sea-salt cookie was something I’d never tasted before and had a light and delicate texture. Good access for wheelchairs and my go to coffee stop in Surbiton when on foot or a motorcycle or bicycle with parking right outside the door.”
