“Superb nosh! Excellent Spanish omelette, just what the doctor ordered! Friendly guy taking the orders too.”
“It is a lovely place where me and my friends have went for the past year in between our lessons in sixth form. The Owner is always incredibly friendly and kind and the food tastes incredible no matter the day (especially the panini’s and milkshakes). I would greatly recommend it as a stop for if you want a quick drink or are looking for a nice bite to eat with a friendly atmosphere.”
“Wow, the most delicious feta mini quiche ever! What a find! So much to choose from beautifully presented sweet and savory produce too. Lovely smiling staff. A wonderful surprise find for morning coffee with "pastries". Good value for money and quick service. We ate in, relaxing at the window bar seating, happily watching the rain! Highly recommended ( take away available too). JM”
“I ordered a set breakfast here, they were happy to substitute mushrooms for beans; it arrived quickly and was well cooked and a generous size. The service was good, the only sad thing was that the place was empty apart from me. Recommend this place if you want a good, honest breakfast, the rest of the menu looks pretty extensive too.”
“A lovely little place tucked away by Surbiton station with a vast array of vegatarian options and a cosy, friendly feel. I had Foul-bil-Laban and a mint tea, both of which arrived quickly. My meal was not only delicious, super flavourful and fresh tasting, but a very generous portion! Definitely recommend, whether for a lunch or just a coffee break, as their drinks and dessert menus were also quite extensive and tasty looking.”
“Very good quality food and drink. Quickly served. My husband had the chicken kiev with chips and salad whist i had the prawn salad. Both meals were perfect and hot. The kiev still contained the garlic butter, something i never seem able to do and the chips crispy. My salad looked like the photo on the menu barring one thing. The prawns had sauce on them and were not plain as shown. This turned it into one huge prawn cocktail which i didn't mind at all. With a £20 bill i consider this great value for money.”
“I’ve visited a few times in the last month, predominantly to grab coffee and work. The staff are always very friendly and last time I visited with my partner, we were given a free pot of Persian tea, which was delicious. The coffee (particularly cappuccino) is excellent, as are the smoothies. The food is very good on the whole, though I would personally prefer the bacon fried or grilled. Would highly recommend popping by for a coffee and breakfast/brunch.”
“Morning sausages cafes nice and clean sausage and bacon baguette very tasty.. get down there and get some tasty grub inside you”
“Iv been wanting to come here for a long time and each time something has came up. I went there with my wife and I had pie and mash as I'm originally from east London and it did not disappoint. My wife had egg on toast and the lady ask how she wanted it and made it perfectly. I will definitely be going back.”
“Excellent service by the hostess, nice coffee and pastisseries”
“Decent cafe a bit pricey that's all”
“Excellent cafe if you are hungry, one of the best, unfortunately ruined by the council taking away the parking outside which has affected their business, but then councils couldn't care less but they still want their business tax.”
“A true gem among Tolworth cafes. Great atmosphere, lovely food (you gotta try their fish&chips!) and astonishingly low prices. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The cafe is wheelchair accessible with a dedicated parking space for Blue Badge holders. Would recommend to anyone!”
“Brilliant pub, great food and friendly staff!”
“Fatjona is one of the most loveliest hairstylist there with so much patience and an eye for detail. She is a perfectionist and makes sure that she makes her client feel special and gives the most amazing service I have experienced. Fatjona is an asset to this salon. 5 stars for her!”
“We had a lovely time here at Harts. Food and drinks were great. Good portion sizes, the food was hot and the staff were very attentive. The only criticism would be that the spotlights are incredibly bright and harsh but that of course is no fault of the staff! Just maybe something that could be looked at,”
“The joy of the railway station pub is an almost universally appreciated joy. And while The Surbiton Flyer isn’t technically a station pub, categorised in my mind by having a departures screen somewhere inside so you can see how many more pints you can squeeze in before running for your train, it’s proximity to Surbiton station certainly brings it close. An old Barclays bank, bought and converted by Fullers 1995, it’s a cosy boozer with a clean interior. Since it’s refurb some 4 odd years ago(?), it’s brought with it that All-Bar-One aesthetic, weirdly keeping in theme with grand Bank entrances, hotel lobbies and railway station concourses. It’s just a bit posh basically, but a sort of faux-poshness, filled with people waiting. Drinks-wise, it’s Fullers and your usual Fullers pub beers. Nice to see (another, since Fullers are only down the road) local brewery here with Big Smoke Electric Eye, although on this occasion, it was a little soapy. In my previous visits here, the London Pride has always been excellent - I should’ve known better. I haven’t had the food here but it does get good reviews. While I love to get proper unsurprising pub grub, it’s hard around this particular one. Next door you have Surbiton Kebabs & Fried Chicken - who I love, not only for the chicken/wraps, but when a car reversed into their shop a few years back, they chose to rebuild it exactly as it looked before and always has. The station itself has more history than the pub. It is “considered one of the finest modernist stations in Great Britain”, is Grade II listed, built in 1937, and designed by Scottish architect James Robb Scott (also designed Waterloo and Richmond among others). It would be nice if they cleaned it once in a while, although it is set for a huge refurb so maybe they can find time to push a broom around. The station was used in Harry Potter if you’re into that too. Overall, if you’re in the area and you find yourself with some time before getting on a train, make sure you’re by the kebab shop entrance, grab a pint, and some wings for the journey. A compact Fullers pub perfect to relax in while whittling down the minutes.”
“Best cooked breakfast ever! Cooked to perfection - lovely crispy bacon, sausages to die for, beautiful runny egg and a gorgeous grilled tomato. The price was only £4.80 which was such good value for money, friendly staff and a good vibe. Liked it so much we came back the following day for a repea performance!”
“Very good quality and price very reasonable. Good quick service clean”
“Excellent place for Sheesha. Authentic place, tasty Sheesha! Nice booths with screens. Staff very friendly. A great place to just hang out, good music playing.”
“Sophie was on her own behind the bar, she was efficient, business focused, proactive and indescribably charming. If I could bottle her vibe I would sprinkle it everywhere and the world would immediately be a much better place.”
“Visited this pub for the second time in three weeks. We had the roast pork Sunday dinner again. Food was great. Excellent service. Great value. I wish that pubs in Worcestershire were as good as this one. Thank you again for the Sunday dinners.”
“A fantastic pub, the food was excellent”
“I visit this café often for breakfast, and it’s always a great experience. The food is consistently good, fresh and tasty options. The service is lovely, friendly and welcoming every time. It’s a cozy spot that makes for a perfect start to the day. Highly recommended!”
“I had my 40th here and it was excellent! The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The spaces are a good size, I was allowed to decorate the area and the food was brought out on time and was delicious. I would certainly recommend The Elm if you are looking to mark an occasion, or even for a meal as it was so good. Thanks all!”
“Nice coffee shop. Coffee well made & staff really friendly”
“Had the most beautiful kebab I’ve had in my life from here! Just moved to the area and I know exactly where I’ll be having my Friday night dinner every week! I was served my Sam and danice I believe their names were! 10/10 from me and I’m a fussy eater so that’s saying something!”
“Booked a table last minute at The French Table and they manage to accommodate us for a colleagues birthday , from start to finish everything was merticulous. Great ambiance and the place is not overcrowded with many tables, they have 2 floors but the place is not too big. I asked for extras to be added on our table and in under 30 minutes they delivered. We had personalised menues with colleagues name on it. Everything i asked for, they delivered. Would definately visit again. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a Michelin type of a restaurant. Tasting menus, wine paring, good food, everything is just so done to perfection, the staff are so friendly.”
“A proper coffee house which has very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They can tell you where the coffee is sourced (all of it is Colombian), the story behind the location & the processes undertaken. They actually roast all of their beans in house which gives it a very fresh and flavourful taste. The staff will help you identify what beans that would suit your coffee choice best, I.e americano, flat white etc. Really recommend visiting the cafe to sit in or take coffee for your commute from Berrylands. They also offer various pastries and snacks etc to complement your choice. I feel like that this is an independent cafe not to be missed, with expertise and flavours which will not be found at a local chain coffeehouse!”
“Great place for a lovely breakfast in sunny day have indoor and outdoor area. Very friendly owner. Nice coffee and panini! Very good price. May find free parking nearby!”
