“Rory cut our son's hair - we explained he has sensory issues and Rory was absolutely amazing. He kept reassuring our son throughout and explaining what he was doing, and checking with our son and also with us about different cutting techniques to ensure our son was comfortable. “A lovely little local pub serving great food. Nice decor and relaxing atmosphere. Dogs are made a fuss of and very welcome. The Sunday Roast is the best in the area. Fresh and Tasty food at a good price cooked to perfection by Jessica. And Kim on Front of House is just a joy. Friendly and attentive and goes out her way to make everyone feel welcome.”

“I know that there have been some issues with this pharmacy in the past. I have been using them for years and I’ve not been immune for the long waits for prescriptions. However, in the last few months there has been a drastic shift in the management of service and for the better. I’ve been getting my prescriptions within days of request. Today I needed an emergency prescription and it was sorted within half an hour. The staff throughout it all have always tried their best to be helpful and friendly - and this hasn’t always been reciprocated by customers. I have always found the staff to be largely pleasant, and I think it’s a shame that they’ve been abused (witnessed) by other patrons. Nothing in life is perfect and we would do well to recognise that.”
