“Had a impromptu lunch date at this cafe and it was wonderful! the atmosphere was relaxing and very welcoming. The staff are warm and helpful ,we had to a make dietary request and they accommodated it and it wasn't any bother. cafe is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, they have different types of chairs which was a life saver for my back! Absolutely loved the food , a little expensive I would say but definitely worth it , best BBQ chicken cheese toastie I've had and the salad that accompanied it was gorgeous. Just what was need on a hot day. I would definitely recommend this place !”

“Lovely pub in Old Glossop. Stayed for a night on a walking weekend. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were really friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious - one of us had a roast dinner with amazing cauliflower cheese. The other two shared delicious tapas, highlight was the ribs and the feta salad. A lovely pub, highly recommend.”

“Great value Domino's in Glossop. Two minutes walk from the Travelodge. Great deals like but one pizza get one free. Quick service- ready in 10 minutes and this on a Saturday night. Fresh and clean place. Wide menu options with vegetarian and plant based. Easy parking bays nearby. Definitely recommend. They got one of our pizza orders wrong but gave us free cookies- these are work getting as they are hot and gooey. Super yummy.”

“I love coming here for a breather by myself or with my little boy. He absolutely loves it, Lindsay is a gem and her food is delicious. The freshly made milkshakes go down a treat with my boy, the tea is spot on and the hot food is always tasty. There are lots of walks in the area so it's a great place to start or finish at.”

“Upon entering the atmosphere was great, very polite and friendly, the small appetiser that me and friend shared was really good, the food was really delicious, flavourful, wasn’t cold or undercooked, the dessert was super light but had really good flavour across all layers of the lemon cheesecake. Seriously impressed and the service was fantastic, Samed looked after us and was absolutely brilliant as was his colleague. Really great service and really great food, such a great place. “Collected a takeaway whilst staying in Padfield for a few days. We had onion Bahji starter with a Lamb Rogan Josh and Lamb Jalfrezi, with rice and naans. Food was excellent. Really tasty and the portions were very generous. A curry and rice would definitely serve 2 people on average. Nice place, friendly staff and great overall experience. Many Thanks.”
