“Absolutely amazing food, staff are fantastic highly recommend!”

“I found an oval glass sequin thing in my food. I guess it fell off the woman's bracelet, or necklace, or earring that was cooking the food. The thing is I never mentioned it to them and I still buy meals from here. I suppose it's a 1 in a million thing. It's just a good job I chew my food before swallowing it, because that thing was about 1 inch long, 0.5 inch across and about 0.25 inch thick, with a sharp edge around it. Whatever it was, it was obviously meant to stay glued into whatever item of jewelry it fell from. What I always laugh about is, it was in one of their most expensive dishes "Singapore Vermicelli". Oh well. I know I could have made a big stink, but I could understand at the time, whoever cooked the meal had obviously just brushed their wrist or whatever on the pan and it fell in. Still, I'll never forget it, I mean what if a child swallowed that. It's unbelievable that it can end up in your food. This chippy has a high rating (4.6/5.0) on "Google Reviews". I must be the only person that had a sharp piece of glass in his food. Even so, I still rate it highly, because it's decent enough food for the cost. The only thing I didn't give 5 stars for was atmosphere because there isn't really one, I mean it's a chippy... is there meant to be? lol”

“I’m very happy with the service I receive from Bramhall Health Centre. I’ve been with them since 1982. After Covid things were not good for a while but I think that applied to all GP practices and I know a lot of people left then. However everything is back on track and both receptionists, nurses, physios and GPs are very helpful and efficient. They were amazing when I desperately needed urgent care. I’m glad I stayed with them and highly recommend. Five stars from me and a big thank you .”

“Love a Sunday morning shop when the doors open at least 20 mins early. We are often out of the door with a weeks worth of groceries by 10.05. Middle isle always worth a look for weird and wonderful things too!! The self checkout area is very handy when you only have a handful of items”

“My most favourite shop in the entire north west!! This shop is a gem, it has the loveliest shopkeepers who are so passionate about their vintage wares :-) This is a must visit whenever I’m in Stockport, there’s always something new and the shop goes on forever! You’ll find things you didn’t know you needed but can’t leave without. Pictured is a gorgeous Picture Post magazine I bought! They have a great little collection of these in the centre floors of the shop along with lots of vintage literature, postcards and trinkets!”

“This is a fantastic Chinese takeaway, I’ve tried near enough all the popular Chinese takeaways in Stockport, but this one is the best by far. Friendly staff, massive portions and authentic flavours. I highly recommend them and I’ll be going there whenever I want my favourite Chinese dishes. Five stars isn’t enough as far as I’m concerned.”

“The lady serving was very helpful. I had the House Special Chowmain. It had lots of beansprouts and some bamboo shoots among other vegetables, as it should! No crunchy water-chestnuts though (which the very nice lady explained none of the younger generation like them much, so they go to waste) :( . All the meat and King prawns were of good quality and cooked as they should be. The eeg noodles were very fine. Personally my favorite, rather than the big thick ones. It was one of the tastiest chowmains I have had on a long time. In fact as I write this, I'm wanting another one (yum!). I'm off to give it a try this evening in fact!”

Critically important ev charging, I was down to 12 kw and we needed some food, we found something nice to eat and when we'd eaten the car was charged to 80% (travelling from Birmingham to llandudno via Nottingham) Super! Thanks Lidl!! You need to register on the Lidl ev site for 12p discount per kw.”

“After such a horrendous experience in the Ernest Jones store in Warrington, Ernest Jones in Stockport was totally different . Laura was welcoming ,friendly and helpful provided an excellent service and nothing was too much trouble .”
