“My favourite Indian restaurant in the area. It does not go for an upmarket "authentic" style rather this is honest good value "Indian" food aimed at British taste. BYOB a huge bonus. Some sound-absorbing soft wall coverings would help as (see other reviews) it can get very noisy. But fortunately not for us this last visit !”

“After ordering a few amazing takeaways from this place we had to pop in to try the thali. Everything from the food to the service was incredible! Super friendly and welcoming staff and the tastiest vegan Indian food we've tried. The waiter even gave us the recipe for the drink that came with our thali because we loved it so much. Highly recommended supporting such a lovely independent!”

“The interior of the restaurant is really nice and was greeted with a smile by the staff. Very friendly and we were given few minutes to select a drink and then once our drinks had came, we were asked promptly for our food orders. The food itself is very nice, we shared a starter which was lovely and both had different main meals. The tikka masala is nice but does need more flavour in my opinion (I always think a more red and rich masala is super tasty but appreciate every chef does it differently). My partners main meal which has paneer is was lovely. They add 10% service charge onto the bill which many places do these days which I don’t mind at all (as long as they give good service). All in all a great place to enjoy some nice food and great service, we will definitely return in the future.”

“Stepping into Turquoise in Cheadle is like being warmly hugged by a restaurant that knows its own character inside out. The décor isn’t trying to impress with chandeliers or glitter thankfully but instead wraps you in warmth with local artwork on the walls that feels like it’s been chosen by someone who actually likes art not someone who just Googled “restaurant paintings.” It’s inviting homely and gives you the sense that whether you’re bringing the family for a big feast or sneaking in for a romantic dinner for two you’re in the right place. Now the food. This is where Turquoise flexes its muscles. Take the full English. It’s not a plate of sadness and regret it’s a proper spread. The sausages aren’t your usual limp Richmonds. No these beauties taste like they’ve just been pinched from a farmer who still sings to his livestock. I don’t even like sausages usually but these have that magic balance meaty juicy and full of intent. And if you fancy they’ll happily swap one out for a Turkish sausage which adds a little drama to the plate like inviting a flamenco dancer to your breakfast table. Their Mediterranean and Turkish dishes carry the same ethos generous but never sloppy bold but never brash. You can tell nothing’s rushed here. It all tastes fresh like someone actually cared as they stirred the pot. The staff are relaxed happy and with that ease that says “We’d rather be here than anywhere else.” They don’t hover like suspicious pigeons nor do they vanish when you need them they’re just right. And the value. Well it’s excellent. Other places might leave you nursing the sting of buyer’s remorse but here you walk away content your wallet intact and your taste buds gently applauding. Turquoise doesn’t just feed you it reminds you that food cooked with love and pride makes everything better. And if you’re lucky the sausages might even wink at you on the way out”

“We had a wonderful experience at Gusto Italian. Our waitresses Ciara and Fran was absolutely excellent – attentive without being intrusive, warm, and very professional. She made great recommendations from the menu, checked in at just the right times, and created a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere throughout our meal. Her service really elevated the evening and made it feel special. Highly recommend both the restaurant and the outstanding service we received.”

“Gatley Tandoori Restaurant which is next door and separate to it's Takeaway. I visited for a family birthday celebration. Parking was on the street unfortunately some people had a walik. The restaurant doesn't have a alcohol licence but a supermarket and off licence are close by, the restaurant has information about them post on a wall. A number of children were present at our function and they were catered for. The staff were very polite and accommodating even with the children. A birthday cake was presented to the guest of honour. I can't testify as to whether or not the property is adequately wheelchair accessible as I'm not wheelchair bound but I can add that they do have disability toilet facilities grab bars and handrails etc. Hot & cold water was available (I've been to properties that don't have hot water). The property was clean and and tastefully decorated. Unfortunately I can't vouch for the vegetarian or dietary options. A Good time was had by all.”

“My mam and I attended the restaurant on Monday evening. Really prompt and smooth service. Our server Molly was fantastic, can’t sing her praises enough. She had really great menu knowledge and treated us at the end of the meal to a little taster of the new lime & basil ice cream that we were in two minds about getting. The host who took us to our table was lovely and very helpful with allergen queries. Food was spot on, can’t go wrong with that Spinach and Egg pizza and the Bosco Salad was heavenly. Thanks for a gorgeous evening all round.”

“Literally the best pizza in Gtr Manchester easily… The owners are lovely once you get to know them and they have some great offers on over lunchtime but overall it’s really good value for money. I cannot understand why anybody would leave a negative review on this place, I’ve had it multiple times and can’t fault it. Huge thumbs up from me!”

“Let me start by saying that this is the best Chinese chippy that I have ever been too. I have been going ever since I was young and the same for my father who has been going since he was a young boy. Very friendly staff and they never make errors with their orders, always perfect every time. I would especially recommend the sweet and sour, the curry sauce, the soft noodles, chips and their chippy sausage. A* & 10/10 best family ran takeaway around!”

“After 7 years of living in the area , yummy is still my go to for chinese / cantonese food. I try others when yummy is closed, when i just crave this cuisine ..and can not wait one more day till yummy opens , and its just not as good. I hope they are only away for chinese new year as they have been closed most of feb i think...hurry up back”

“Omg we always eat here and the food is always 100% delicious, we got the chicken burger deal tonight and omg by far the best chicken burger me and the hubby have ever had salad super fresh on the burger and the chicken to die for gutted it's all gone, we honestly haven't been to another kebab shop in years because everything they have from pizza to kebab and burgers are out of this world thank guys it's very hard to find a take away that serves food that pleases a whole family AAAAA****** 5******* quality”
