“Wonderful soundproofing for a city location. Didn't hear traffic, banging doors or anything during the night. Very comfy bed, powerful shower, clean and useful facilities. Also lovely friendly lady on reception. Late checkout brilliant too. The beefeater attached to it is great as well. We arrived very tired from long journey and took advantage of the special offer for dinner and breakfast. Food was delicious, portions good and Holly our waitress was brilliant.”

“I booked a dome for afternoon tea for partners birthday. Food was delicious. I had the vegan option which was really well thought out rather than just dupes of the classic. We were served by Angel who was very polite, professional and helpful. Angel went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and extra as its been such a hot day. “Nice cafe with usual Tesco menu. Food excellently cooked and presented, and even the beans were hot (which in my experience of most cafes is unusual). Cheerful and efficient staff and good atmosphere. What was really good was that you ordered at the counter rather at the impersonal machines which is becoming the norm (and is the reason we tend to avoid several other Tesco Cafes).”

“I've reviewed all over the world but somehow always end up back here. Came back a few times since my original review and had to edit my review. How they are still surviving with prices so cheap is beyond me. Where else can you get a 9" calzone for a fiver? The wedges + burger combo is something I've ordered so many times but could never get enough of. Best kebabs for a country mile and their garlic bread is what Pizza Hut needs to be. Love this place, man! Seriously good takeaway. Cheap food and helpful staff. Best in the area if you ask me. Great value for money and they don't rip you off. £1 slush reminds me of times when you could actually get value for your cash and their milkshakes are addicting!!”

“My wife booked this place and looking at the reviews, I was a bit dubious about staying there. We ended up having a great stay. Ok the hotel is a little dated but the room was clean and quiet. The receptionist was lovely and I thank her very much for her help. Easy access via the number 59 bus into and out of the city centre. Had dinner the first night in the adjacent pub and spoke to a lovely couple that said it has recently been taken over and things are a improving.. had a great stay and would recommend. Thanks.”
