“Had a lovely stay including dinner and breakfast. Food was great, we had the roast dinner which was fantastic value for money at £13.95 a head. Breakfast had a good selection of hot food at the buffet. My only, very personal, preference would have been to have more egg options as I didn’t fancy the scrambled eggs and there wasn’t any other option but the rest was delicious and plentiful. Lastly, but definitely not least were the friendly, helpful staff who really made us feel welcome and valued. Highly recommend the Boat & Horses hotel too as the rooms are big, well appointed and the beds really, really comfy. Well worth a stop off.”

“The food is absolutely delicious, I recommend this place. The staff are really polite, they give your food really fast. There is a selection of food options,the hygiene is average and I admire the presentation, the safety is fine and there has never been any problems with the food. Trams and buses are available nearby, which is perfect to do pick up. Parking is also right in front of it for free! It’s an amazing place that you should try, their pizza is also a delicacy!”

“Went to the wedding fayre. Lovely staff very helpful. Saw people having bar food looked delicious, was sorely tempted to tuck in. Very relaxed atmosphere, guests sitting around, TVs on but not to loud creating calm and quiet mood.”

“First time ordering from here. I originally asked for recommendations on FB and here was suggested multiple times. We ordered a chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, mixed madras and a chicken chat. We did have to call back as one item was not delivered but they quickly sorted this and delivered for us. Food was really nice, bread were lovely and fresh. Our order was just under £50 which I thought was great for 4 ppl”

“Beautiful food, my partner had a stack I went for surf and turf... Very nice.... They was a little under staffed due to ill staff,,, it was a Friday night! The young lady that seated us made us welcome and explained their situation...... We only waited 15 to order food was their in ample time and cooked to perfection...... Worthy of a visit if your in the area.”

“I don't review often but this was too good to not review, Oldham's HIDDEN GEM - Went in for the first time yesterday, very friendly Chinese family run business, was met by I believe the lovely mum at first! Ordered 1. Fish 2. Salt and Pepper Chicken 3. Chips 4. Curry Sauce Very short wait time, cooked fresh with huge portions at a low cost! Was absolutely delicious especially the Salt and Pepper Chicken, I will be ordering this again and again. The family enjoyed it so much we went for a second time today, definitely the best curry sauce in Oldham!!! They threw in a free incredibly large bag of prawn crackers which paired lovely with the curry sauce!!! I went and got the Chicken chow mein and King prawn chow mein. Order taken by the lovely boy that works there, very friendly and kind explaining the different items they have! Even took the time to ensure all items were within my dietary restrictions :D Both were incredibly well cooked and flavourful, loved it!!! This is definitely going to have to be a repeated visit even though its a 10 minute drive from me!!! Everything is incredibly fresh, very fast service, lovely workers there, the Man Sun is amazing!!! Not sure why the other reviews are awful when this is one of the best if not the best chinese chippy I have ever been to.”

“Didn't eat it there, but bartenders was really kind in the morning. I just waiting my check-in to the hostel next door. Nice espresso, real Italian coffee machine. Perfect place to start exploring Manchester, best time to visit 8-11PM on Friday. IPA, cider is ok. It was live music on Thursday.”

“Please can all our customers accept our apologies for over the last few weeks for any chip issues you may have encountered, potato’s have seasons and unfortunately July / August are mixed bags which is out of our control, the mixed potatoes all fry differently. We now have the new season potatoes in stock to provide the quality of chips we are all used to from the Frydays team”

“Food was banging. We had the Chow Mein , Ribs and salt and pepper nuggets and chips. Couldn’t fault it at all. Flavour was unreal and portion size was worth it!”

“It was a quiet place, but it was a great breakfast place. I asked a lady to make it extra spicy, and she did. It's delicious and fresh cook. Homemade paratha, omelette and dhaal - it's tasty! We enjoy it - I like their karak coffee too! Decorate is cute, and it's giving vibes. Highly recommend!”

“Absolutely spot on every single time. The food is well presented, good portions, fresh, and reasonably priced. Packaging is very neat. I have ordered from here many times now, and every single time the food has been consistently good. I came across Bur-Grill by accident one day, and now it has become our go-to place for family orders. Best and tastiest stir-fried donner in town, amongst quality burgers and tasty pizzas. Definitely recommend!”
