“I have been so impressed with Hilltops nursery since the day we signed our little boy up. The rooms are always set up with different activities each day and my little boy is always so excited to go inside and play. They have always worked around my own home routines to their best of their ability. They adapted the foods given to our little boy when he was younger and still will do so if he refuses to eat. He has come so far since attended and the chatterbox he is shows how much he is learning on a daily basis. Absolutely fantastic nursery and would recommend to anyone.”

“We are so impressed and grateful for all that the staff do, day in and day out for our son. They well and truly go above and beyond at all times. Our son has been at Gelston since turning 1 so we have experienced the baby room (bunnies), toddler room (owlets) and now preschool (owls). At each age, I couldn't say enough positives about the staff, and their care, passion and knowledge within their roles - at all levels. A special shout-out has to go to three members of staff in particular, our son's key workers, they are incredible members of staff who have made the nursery journey seamless and enjoyable at all times. And of course, this wouldn't be possible without the outstanding management. We are also incredibly grateful for the time and effort that goes into updating the communication app daily - this gets us through the day. Thank you. We couldn't recommend Gelston enough.”

“Lovely experience, I used to visit for my community midwife checks then transitioned to attending a class. I usually dread taking little one out as hes a fussy baby, but theyve made it so baby friendly I felt comfortable even with a 3 month old. An absolute essential resource for the community to meet other mommas so you dont feel so isolated. Little one slept beautifully after the session!”

Home from home environment, arts and crafts, baking, walks and adventures, outdoor play and childminder playgroup sessions (singing and dancing, bouncy castles, yoga, reptiles). Healthy, home cooked meals provided. Highly recommend Lisa to any parents looking for a safe but fun environment for their little ones”

“My son attends afterschool club at the Canal House Nursery and I cannot praise it enough. He started here three weeks ago and his confidence has grown already. He has built up good relationships with the staff already and really looks forward to the days he attends. All the staff are lovely, very friendly, welcoming and caring. The activities they do afterschool always vary and he always enjoys the different things he has done each day. They provide great wholesome meals for him which he really enjoys. My son especially enjoys the great outdoor space to play in.”

From first meeting Yvonne and Ste I knew that this is where I wanted my daughter to go. Her house is closed distance to park and therefore regular visits to the park in nice days in order. If I had a child she was the one and only one I trust to look after my kid.”

“I started therapy with Thriving Young Minds in April, with my first session being the first time I had left the house all year. I’m writing this now having just done my last session in August, and it’s safe to say that I’ve made a huge amount of progress with my anxiety. I worked with Adele, who was really nice and helped me make a scale which I could gradually work on week by week. I agreed to set myself a goal after every session, and was given confidence and reassurance that I could achieve what I set out to do. I also spoke about other issues I’ve had with identity and understanding emotions, and I was given validation on everything that I brought up. I learned that it is okay to be experiencing some of the feelings that I have, which has helped to take a lot off my mind. It’s also worth noting that the general atmosphere and environment of the room I was in during my sessions was lovely and I felt safe at all times. Deciding to go here for therapy turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ll be going back to university next month, and for the first time this year I can actually say that I’m not dreading it.
