Micro braids, requested extremely fine braids, plated to mid length - 18 inch in lengths, 2 people on it, took less time than I thought it would, didn’t hurt, friendly atmosphere, always checking in to make sure it was how I wanted it. Will definitely be my go to hairdresser for micro braids.”

“I just wanted to take the time out to leave this hairdressers a review. It was my first time I went there to get my hair cut as I was recommended this place by a friend. I’m so fussy with who cuts my hair and always scared if it get ruined as I’ve had many bad experience with hairdressers due to me having long hair and getting it cut to short. I was greeted by Sophie stunning young woman and such a lovely person she did an incredible job and I’m so so happy with my cut and layers. I will 100% be coming back to cut my hair cut done by here again as I was on the search to find someone for the long run. George is a fantastic character to both such lovely people and had a very pleasant experience going. Thankyou guys so much it was love to meet you and I will see you in the future for my next cut. “Finally got a chance to write this review I booked my two little boys for hairdo style (a bit of gel) for my two young boys at Studio 8 barbers on the day of a family wedding. We turned up, and they said we had no appointment and had booked the wrong date (I did not, I mentioned the date twice at time of booking). I was freaking out as the wedding was in 1 hour. The barbers did not offer any advice/help, very cold towards us, and we walked out in a panic. Frantically, ran to The HIVE Barbers and we were welcomed with open arms. Did not have an appointment but kindly offered to help and calmed us down straight away. Styled both boys hair with a little gel, all done in less than 5 mins and didn't even charge a penny. Boys looked really smart, and style lasted all day. So so grateful for a kind-hearted, caring local business who actually care for local residents and went out his way, knowing the circumstances around the importance of the day. Did not profit a penny, yet gained a lot of respect and have spread of this kind, wonderful business. This happened summer 2024, sorry for late review.”

“As a man about to turn 40 I would describe this as a modern style barbers (where the quality of cut is Salon standard) but with the great community feel that you used to get in the old shops I remember as a kid (the ones everyone went to). They're friendly, kind. I see a lot of parents taking their boys there ages 7 and up so they must be pretty good that that. I've been going there since lockdown and I've rarely stayed with 1 barbers so long. Olly (owner) or Ollie K, you get a great cut and a nice chat.”
