“What a fabulous place! The staff are so friendly and helpful. We visited last Saturday for breakfast. It was super cold, but we cosied up in a little hut with a wood burner, cushions and blankets and a stunning view (dress warmly). The drinks were divine and food delicious. Great value too, £50 for four of us. Perfect!”

The lady behind the counter was so friendly and cheerful — she greeted every person who walked in with a big smile and genuine warmth. “I have been a regular customer at this coffee bar ever since it opened the lady who runs the business is a wonderful welcoming and kind individual. “We’ve been here twice recently because it’s just so good! The first time I had the Turkish eggs with halloumi and sausage, then the second time I went for the chicken and pancakes, both were amazing. One visit was around 11am on a Saturday and there was about a 15-minute wait, but definitely worth it. The other time we went a bit later and got a table straight away. You can book ahead, but they also keep some tables for walk-ins. Staff are nice and friendly and really good to accommodate allergies too”

The food, the atmosphere, the amount of effort put in by the amazing staff made the experience absolutely awesome for my 2 year-old granddaughter. Father Christmas went all out to make it a fabulous event for all the children who were there and it was a lovely touch when he came out to chat to each child individually especially for the little boy who was initially a little overawed by the meeting! Very special day, and the individual gift boxes are just the icing on the cake, to be honest I can't see how they can do all this for the price. Super good value!! The atmosphere is cosy, welcoming and just what you want from a local coffee house and the staff were so friendly! I ordered the steak eggs Benedict with chorizo, and honestly… it was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. The steak was tender, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the chorizo added the most incredible flavour. I absolutely loved it! The coffee was amazing too, smooth, rich and clearly made with care.
