“Had a impromptu lunch date at this cafe and it was wonderful! the atmosphere was relaxing and very welcoming. The staff are warm and helpful ,we had to a make dietary request and they accommodated it and it wasn't any bother. cafe is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, they have different types of chairs which was a life saver for my back! Absolutely loved the food , a little expensive I would say but definitely worth it , best BBQ chicken cheese toastie I've had and the salad that accompanied it was gorgeous. Just what was need on a hot day. I would definitely recommend this place !”

“Rory cut our son's hair - we explained he has sensory issues and Rory was absolutely amazing. He kept reassuring our son throughout and explaining what he was doing, and checking with our son and also with us about different cutting techniques to ensure our son was comfortable. Our son's haircut at the end was great, and our son was really relaxed, which is a complete win! We will 100% be going to Dark Peak Barbers again - thank you!!”

“I love coming here for a breather by myself or with my little boy. He absolutely loves it, Lindsay is a gem and her food is delicious. “A lovely cottage in a very quiet location with splendid views. Very comfortable, well presented and spacious accomodation, with a log burner in the lounge, and excellent range cooker in the kitchen. Spacious main bedroom with very comfortable bed, and well equiped bathroom. Very suitable for dog owners with footpaths on the doorstep. We shall certainly return.”
