Comfortable dining in Salford

“If you’re in Media City this shop is definitely worth a visit. It is an Outlet store so you will see some of the clothing you’d find in the bigger stores on the high street but much cheaper. I am happy to say they usually have my size too which isn’t always the case in outlet stores. I have put a couple of photos up but they don’t really do the place justice. If you’re in Media City it’s worth popping in even if you’re not looking for anything in particular because there are loads of clothes here. The staff are unfailing polite and helpful and there is a car park attached to the shopping mall here. Thanks for reading”

“I’m a DJ currently on tour around the UK and stopped by Slow Boat for a quick bite and honestly, it was one of the best takeaway meals I’ve had on the road. The food was amazing, packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. The salt and pepper chips and salt and pepper chicken were absolutely top-tier, crispy, well-seasoned, and full of that classic wok-fried flavour. The staff were so polite and helpful, making the whole experience even better. You can tell they really care about their customers. Great portion sizes, fair prices, and everything came out fresh and hot. Highly recommend Slow Boat if you’re anywhere nearby, proper comfort food and great service all around. “We stayed in a family room on the top floor. The room was clean & spacious & good amenities. It is an old building, not fancy & steep staircases but if you are ok with this then it's a great place to stay. All the staff in the hotel & down in the pub are brilliant, very welcoming & accommodating & they obviously get on well. Our breakfast was included as we booked direct & we got 20% off food & drinks at other times. The food was very nice & large portions. Excellent location especially if you're at an event at the AO Arena.”

“It’s a great place to live. I’ve been renting in Riverview for 3 years now. I live in a one bedroom and find the apartment to be a decent size with stunning views ✨ Affinity has also a good sense of community, people are very friendly and there’s so many dogs which is brilliant. I’ve had only pleasant experiences with the staff, they’ve always been helpful with my parcels or enquiries. Love living here!”

“I was put off coming here to eat because of some of the reviews but decided to try it tonight as I am on a course and in Manchester for 6 weeks . I had the kebab sandwich with donner kebab and lamb seekh kebab and a side portion of chips . I ordered online and collected myself . The kebab and chips were amazing , 5 star all the way . Really hot and fresh and good quality food . The restaurant is immaculately clean , you could eat off the floor . The man who served me was lovely , polite and helpful. I was £15 for my meal and it was enough for 2 people so very reasonable in price . I will definitely be back . It has also taught me not to rely on reviews from others as my experience was a 5 star one yet other reviews are very different . I would highly recommend , give it a go and make your own mind up . The team at the front desk are special- always checking in with a friendly hello. At slate yard you really feel at home. “Our go-to Chinese takeaway in Pendlebury. Never had an issue with this place. We've been using it for 7+ years. Sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice, salt and pepper chips, veggie spring rolls. All standard, and very tasty. Almost always piping hot, occasionally warm but that's to be expected sometimes when you get it delivered. It's never cold. Though. Super cheap. Easy to order via telephone. Drivers always arrive with a smile.”

“Came here yesterday with a friend and ordered 2 hot drinks and breakfasts. The drinks and food came quickly. Food was hot and fresh. Big shout out to Lesley and Lewis were great front of house they were friendly and nothing was too much trouble we asked for a little extra milk for the tea and this was done without any problem.
