“As a man about to turn 40 I would describe this as a modern style barbers (where the quality of cut is Salon standard) but with the great community feel that you used to get in the old shops I remember as a kid (the ones everyone went to). They're friendly, kind. I see a lot of parents taking their boys there ages 7 and up so they must be pretty good that that. I've been going there since lockdown and I've rarely stayed with 1 barbers so long. Olly (owner) or Ollie K, you get a great cut and a nice chat.”

“Our son completed all his GCSE’s with the Intuition Centre in Heald Green across 2 years and he could not have had a better experience. We are a clinically vulnerable family and the exam officer Shabir was an absolute angel. He went over and above for our family to make sure that our son could sit exams safely and nothing was too much trouble. He was understanding, kind, diligent and supportive at a time when so many people like us are struggling so much. No other exam centres would help us and I called so many. Our son would have really struggled to sit any exams at all without Shabir and the Intuition team supporting us. They understandably get quite busy so please be aware of that but honestly if you need to sit private exams this is the place. We can never thank them enough for all they have done for us and our son is now doing A levels and planning what he wants to do next. Without the Intuition centre it would be a very different picture. Fantastic people who genuinely care and that is becoming rarer these days. Huge 5 stars from us”

Called into the Gatley showroom for a chat with Gemma, and within 10 minutes I'd chosen the oven, agreed a price and been given a delivery date. “Shelly managed to fit me in last minute on a Saturday afternoon after the salon I was booked to go to let me down. I expected a bit of a simple, quick service being later but Shelly was friendly, listened to what kind of style I like and took her time. The result was lovely, and such a contrast to my previous experience at the other salon. All the ladies there seem to genuinely help each other, and created a lovely atmosphere. “Leanne cuts our little boys hair and she gets it right every time. She is very friendly and professional who is also very fast with the haircut. She managed to cut our little boys hair even though he was crying throughout but made it as fun as possible for him without comprising the quality of the haircut. 10/10 recommend for first time haircuts for little ones.”

“I would like to thank Dexter's for advice - we have a young rescue cat who has been hungry all the time, even straight after food, waking up very early. The lady at Dexter's was so helpful, explaining that the food we were providing was not satisfying enough. We tried the recommended food and the difference has been amazing. She is more relaxed, playful and not demanding food all the time. She sleeps all night which is a huge bonus. Please visit for food, toys and advice.”
