“Absolute gem of a place. Stumbled across it whilst looking for some chips for my son after visiting the nearby park. The place was really cosy and staff very friendly. I can't believe how cheap the prices are. Portion size was huge. Food was fresh, tasty and hot. Had a lovely fireplace and toys for children to play with. I ordered for takeout but you can dine in.”

I have the Uber Eats app and their service is always fast and the food is always in perfect condition - if cookie dough, it’s still lovely and warm, and if ice cream it’s always still cold and in tact. The food is so tasty it’s always a joy ordering from The Dessert Cafe. Even going into the cafe itself, the owner is very friendly and the service in itself is wonderful. The salt and pepper ribs are gorgeous, the curry is really distinctive too, it’s beautiful. How does this place not have more and better reviews, the quality of the Chinese food is so much better than anything around. Just such a shame you can’t have it delivered and it doesn’t open late.”

“Popped in whilst visiting a friend on my birthday & bumped into an old work colleague & friend of mine Sara! She’s working in the right place as she’s really lively & great with the locals. Absolutely made my visit that more enjoyable & I know she’s regular on the Karaoke too, Always the entertainer!. Great place for private events too plus socialising in the main pub with pool table in another room. Also decent seating outside for when the suns out.”
