She made great recommendations from the menu, checked in at just the right times, and created a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere throughout our meal. “Elite chinese! Just switched to here after 20 years at another local one (Happy House). The food is great although It’s getting little bit expensive with large chips going over £4 but it’s the best in the area. The people that work there are very professional and friendly.”

“What a lovely evening I have just had for my daughter’s 11th birthday family meal. I booked a table online and requested a table near the window which we got and then as a surprise at the end of the meal the chef brought out a cake and the staff sang happy birthday to my daughter which I wasn’t expecting. All the staff were superb. I’m afraid I didn’t catch their names but a blond lady and a tall lad with longer hair looked after us and a female chef. They all deserve massive praise. Constantly checking we were all ok and dealing with my sisters gluten free dietary requirements (she was impressed and happy that you kept everything separate and even more happy she got a carvery with gluten free Yorkshires and gravy!). The food was as expected- pub grub, great quantity and taste. We all left full of happiness and full bellies and that’s all we want from a family outing! So thankyou”

“Amazing food and a relaxed atmosphere. Food is good quality and reasonably priced around £15-25 per person. The loona rice was my absolute favourite... highly recommend it. I have been with my family and then again with my friends for a chilled evening. The owner was lovely and attentive and ensured we were were well looked after. Great authentic lebanese restaurant.”

“After 7 years of living in the area , yummy is still my go to for chinese / cantonese food. I try others when yummy is closed, when i just crave this cuisine ..and can not wait one more day till yummy opens , and its just not as good. “My favourite Indian restaurant in the area. It does not go for an upmarket "authentic" style rather this is honest good value "Indian" food aimed at British taste. BYOB a huge bonus. Some sound-absorbing soft wall coverings would help as (see other reviews) it can get very noisy. But fortunately not for us this last visit !”
