Usually just buy my milk and the odd chocolate fix but essentials there too and open when they say they will be. “After moving to Manchester, we’ve never found somewhere that does authentic Chinese takeaway food that isn’t super overpriced until TODAY. Delicious food, big portions (be aware of big portions as we ended up with so much food) We ordered on Friday night and the food was ready quicker than expected and still very hot when we got home. We highly recommend crispy duck pancakes and sweet & sour chicken. 10/10 customer service, greeted by a very friendly lady at the shop and we had a quick chat. It was so lovely finding out that we’re supporting a small family owned business. We will definitely be back.”

“A wonderful pub with fantastic food. Been here a few times and it never disappoints. The owners /staff are attentive and very welcoming. They have a great variety of beers, spirits and authentic Japanese sake and gins etc and also green tea, coffee for the non beer drinkers. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. I’ve taken a few friends and family here and they’re bowled over with the food. My Japanese friend have said it’s the best tempura she has had in the UK. Looking forward to the expansion to the beer garden in the back as well.”

“Fantastic food in the most unassuming place and location. The whole experience was smooth and food wasn't too spicy. What they have classed as 3 peppers out of 5 - I found rather mild. Really like the medium of building your own custom plate. It's a novelty, but very refreshing idea and gives you opportunity to taste a few things at once without spending crazy money on a single meal.”

“Got there at lunchtime and it was lovely and quiet. I went for the standard carvery and the other half had the chicken burger. The carvery was lovely and fresh with good sizes of meat. The chicken burger was good, apparently, but the coleslaw let it down. All in all a good quick stop off for a lunch that was hot and a good size. The cake slices were huge!”
