Dining experience in Bolton

“I attended the Autumn Spa Day with my Mum today, which was a birthday gift. We had an absolutely lovely time, the facilities are wonderful, loved the various sauna/steam rooms etc available. The outdoor thermal pool was fabulous too. We also joined in with an aqua aerobics class which was on at the time and we really enjoyed it. To finish off we had a 50 minute treatment which was incredible, the girls were wonderful who did the treatments and made sure we were always happy & comfortable. The staff on the spa reception were also really helpful and happy to help us. Although the changing rooms were a little tired and in need on a facelift, it didn’t affect our visit whatsoever! We would definitely return!”

“A different eating-in experience with various steak options variety a nice seating area and a lovely view of an actual plane cockpit and proper airplane womdows with a view of the main road. Tables and seating are good enough for a family of 6 like mine and comfortable.”

“Down for a weekend from Rhyl went to Lincolns in town centre warm welcome felt comfortable excellent food well priced definitely worth a visit if you've not been not far from shopping centre cromptom place it's a little hidden gem”

“We had take away... We had the mid week special for 2 people, 2 curries, pilau rice, naan bread and bombay potatoes. For the starter it was chicken tikka and onion bhajis If you ever remember one of the best curry places in farnworth, going back a few years, it was called gulshan takeaway on albert road, the curry sauce and other items were on a level par.... Best tasting curries ive had in years... Cheers Shabna...dont sack that chef... Will be ordering again and post some pics....”

“Just found this sofa shop online and and can’t thank them in off. Steve is a very friendly guy and given us full information about the sofa. Wanted a sofa for same day delivery and they have delivered in 2 hours. The sofa we got is the best and love it. Thank you Friendly Furniture 5 star service”

“Visited Yarrow Bridge with my wife and daughter for a casual bite to eat on a Saturday afternoon. Lovely place with good outdoor seating and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Staff were friendly and the service was quick. I went for the chicken platter with fries, coleslaw, and Carolina Grim Reaper sauce. The coleslaw didn’t arrive and, as it turns out, the sauce was way hotter than I was ready for (my fault). I popped inside and asked if I could swap the sauce for something else instead of the missing coleslaw. To be fair, the barman came straight over with both a new sauce and the coleslaw. No hassle. Really decent customer service. We stayed for several drinks. All round, a great pub with good food, friendly staff and a proper relaxed feel. Would definitely go back.”

“I visited Subway recently and was served by Joe. Despite the store being clearly understaffed and a constant stream of Deliveroo orders coming in, Joe remained calm, patient, and professional throughout. It did take a bit longer than usual to get my order, but it was clear the delay wasn’t his fault – he was handling a lot on his own. Joe made sure to greet every customer politely, took time to get each order right, and didn’t let the pressure affect his service. I really appreciated his positive attitude and attention to detail, even in a hectic situation. If anything, Subway needs to make sure their staff aren’t left to manage such a high workload alone. Joe did a great job under the circumstances, and his customer service deserves recognition. I visited on the 29th June 2025 around 17:30.”

“We have spent 16 months trying to find good pizza in Manchester and finally, Ronan Pizzeria has come through. The crust is the perfect thickness and texture and a proper pizza; not the sandwich-bread texture of every other "pizza" around. The toppings are great quality and flavour and the service was welcoming and kind. Update: 1 year later it's still incredible. We moved to Canada and are back for a few days to visit so made sure to stop here for dinner.”

“Lovely takeaway meals and is a convenient location with parking spaces! I noticed there were new owners and as such their service is slower than usual but still satisfactory. I will give them time to adapt and perhaps change a few small things to make this takeaway better, but it is already looking better in terms of food and cleanliness. At first I was scared of trying as a recent review said sweet n sour prawns were £10.50, however when I ordered it, it turned out to be only around £5.90 which is cheaper than most takeaways in this area; glad I didn't listen to that review! Overall lovely food and experience :)”

“1st time ordering, Food had plenty off flavour and tasted great, got the set menu for one,sweet and sour chicken balls, chicken satay and egg fried rice, plus spring rolls and prawn crackers was amazing will definatly be back.”

“I had heard good things about this place from a friend and as I was travelling home from work my son amd I decided to swing in. We were made to feel very welcome, the staff are really lovely and the food was top notch. Needless to say we left feeling very full and happy. They have a number of good deals during the week so doesn't hurt your wallet either. We will see you soon”

“We had a set meal for 4 and it was really good, it was hot and all freshly cooked. It arrived on time which is always a bonus. We had onion bhagi which I was not always keen on but last night's was hot and fresh, poppadoms were crispy and the nan bread was fresh and warm and the curries were lovely with plenty of meat. Cannot wait for the next one. Keep up the good work Naz.”

“Love the food here hands down killing it with flavours. Tonight they had a mix up in the kitchen. My order didnt come, rang up, 1st takeaway ive had to actually check and admit fault without hassle. They immediately cooked and delivered in about 15 minutes without me needing to say anything or asking so worth noting. 5*”

“Just moved to the aria and tried the food from here for tea tonight. Was un sure what to get, The lady behind the counter was very patient and helpful. I went with the Beef In Bean, with a portion of salt and pepper chips. Was very fresh and the beef was so soft and cooked perfect. Tasted amazing. I can now say I’ve found my new local take out. :) Would recommend to anyone. reasonably priced too :)”
