“Really nice pub been a few times now. Excellent value even without the 50% off and really nice food. It’s just standard chain pub food but it’s always hot and is actually really tasty. On this occasion one of the onion bhaji add ons didn’t arrive but the waiter sorted this out. They took a while to come (after we’d all finished sadly) but they were more than happy to put them in a takeaway bag and this was fine with me. Recommend for a quick good value bite to eat, there’s also a nice outside area with a small play area perfect for families.”

“Fantastic serloin steak for a work meeting out. Cooked perfectly with a nice intense charcoal flavour. The grilled halloumi with pesto was very nice touch, delicious. Very polite and attentive service in a comfortable environment. If I had to fault something my only grumble would be the long Island ice tea had too much lime which made the coke fizz flat and drink sharp (I am highly critical of cocktails)”

“So enjoyed this our first visit and far exceeded our expectations- easy and free to park by simple registering your vehicle at the console by the bar. Spacious, well lit, beautifully set out with windows offering views of the canal basin ,its boats and nice canal walks in both directions. Friendly and very welcoming staff. Plenty of tables inside and on the terraces outside. Lovely atmosphere and ambiance and includes historic photos of canal and boating life. Dog and child/ family friendly. Usy on our mid lunchtime mid week visitGreat selection on menu and reasonable prices and such delicious food ( great coffee too) Will certainly visit again soon and likely do so regularly from hence.
