“My two children absolutely love First steps, they have been there since they were 8 months and 2 attending a couple of days and now 2 and 4 attending full time Monday to Friday. Every room they’ve been in and moved up into has been brillliant. They have lots of outside time and lots of structured activities as well as free play too, they come home with so many things they’ve made that they’re so proud of! Too many to name but all staff have been amazing, I’ve seen mostly the same faces the whole time as turnover is so low and my children have adored everybody, they’ve made me feel so comfortable and confident leaving them knowing they’re so well looked after, there’s a real family feel. Ian, Luke and Tina have been brilliant, so organised in their management of everything and so helpful with flexibility where I’ve needed. So glad my kids have spent their first years here!”

“My child has been going here for over 3 years and soon to be going to school. I've always felt he's being well looked after, having fun, learning, and safe. The older kids performed a Xmas play last year and we were all really proud to see how hard they'd worked. The start and finish times can be built around your schedule, and they've always been there if I've needed to book an extra day. The kids are well fed with lots of varied and nice freshly cooked meals. We've been very happy here.”

“We could not recomend Children's Choice enough! The have looked after my son since he was 6 months old and the care and love they show him is what every parent would want! They keep me updated on what he's up to and anything I ask for for his care they support! They have recently been doing big brother lessons with him which has been incredible with our newborn who I know will also be in the best hands when he starts there! Thank you for everything you do!”

“Just had our first weekend at Alton Towers, we had a brilliant time, really well organised. The social dancing was great fun, and being up close with the dancers was amazing. There are two things I would change/review , 1) the food at dinner wasn’t great, and there is no excuse for a hotel to serve food on cold plates. This is not Donaheys fault, but worth mentioning. 2) The red carpet photo call is just a photo opportunity, due to time constraints etc, there isn’t the ability to have any individual photos. But make sure you get to the red carpet on the Saturday black tie ball as they look amazing. We’ve booked again for next year and can’t wait ! This weekend has encouraged us to join a Dance School, hopefully next year we may be wearing blue wristbands!”

“My son attended here from being one year old until we sadly had to leave due to moving away. It was an absolutely brilliant nursery, Zoe and the team provided a real home from home for my son I could not have asked for a better start for him I would highly recommend this nursery.”

“My daughter has been having lessons at school and has learnt so much. I'm amazed at the progress she has made and am looking to extend these lessons outside of the school setting. She loves Alex and watching them work so well at the school performance with all of the children obviously adoring their teachers I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.”

“My son has gone to this nursery from the age of 9 months and has started primary this year and I couldnt be more pleased with the care and development the nursery has provided to my son and fully intend my new child to go here as well. They treat my boy like their own and work very hard and closely with parents to ensure they can do the best for the children in their care. New staff integrate beautiful and you can tell they take great care in choosing the right staff that fits best in the nursery :) I have no complaints and I have no doubt they will continue such a high standard of care. Please do not believe any negative reviews as they are blatantly either spam or a troll causing unnecessary distress. I recommend this place so highly that even my extended family with children who don't necessarily live close by have chosen this nursery because how good it is and they love it and so do their kids. Keep up the brilliant work, my boy misses the nursery, that's how good it is”

“Bowden House provides a wonderful setting for your child to thrive. Having had my older son at another local and reputable nursery and from talking to friends, I can honestly say it sits head and shoulders above the rest. Not only is the setting small and intimate, the staff are friendly to children and parents alike. My little boy had a special relationship with his key worker Ruby, who was always so bubbly and positive with him. Although he only attended two days a week would talk about her a lot and was always excited to go to nursery. The nursery keeps parents well informed of activities for the week ahead (always varied, creative and educational) and provide regular updates on your child’s progress. I highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking in the locality.”
