If I had one wish in life, it would be to have started Jiujitsu sooner.”

“This is one place where you can come alive, the breath of fresh air while watching the sports activities. I love the inclusivity. They have a team for physically challenged teenagers and kids. They come with their carers or families, and it is an amazing sports center to get on a sports team. And yes! Pets are allowed in. There are no seats here, but u can always come with one.”

“I can only go off my own experiences when reviewing here and have found Salford Community Leisure excellent value for money. I have the monthly corporate all inclusive package, which gives you full access to all of the classes, gyms and pools across the Salford area. Some of the gyms are in better condition than others, but for what you pay and for what you get, you are getting a really good deal. The staff and instructors I've found all incredibly friendly and helpful. There's a great range of gym classes at all times of the day, evenings and weekends. You can book over the phone, on their booking system and also on their app. My only criticism is like I mentioned earlier, where some of the gyms are in better condition than others, but that is sadly out of SCL's control due to Tory central government cuts over the past 12 years, meaning budgets are tight. I believe there are plans for all of the gyms to eventually be redeveloped or refurbished, but obviously these things take time.”

“I consider Liz as family. She has been nothing but reliable and integral for the past 18 months. Our dog absolutely loves her to pieces, and we’ve never had any issues. “Excellent!!! Definitely five stars! Brought my six year old here today and it was brilliant! Really cheap and such good fun. Staff brilliant, really helpful and friendly. One staff member in particular helped us a lot with the bigger wall and harnesses. We are 100% coming back. If you're an adult and accompanying a child, wear comfortable clothes because if you're physically able to join in; you will definitely want to! Excellent place. They also serve food and have good facilities.”

“Alicia was our party host for our son’s 11th party. She was professional, efficient and friendly. The whole thing was brilliant. We had 2 minor injuries which were dealt with very professionally with first aider being brilliant and providing excellent care and diligence. Free parking is brilliant too, would highly recommend!”

Mo was super helpful and very knowledgeable, he made me comfortable and never tried to sell but explained my choices and the product features , ended up buying a pair of amazing Salming Venom shoes , by far the best court shoes I had used and I got it for a fantastic prices , even lesser than online price, most importantly there the human touch where my requirements was considered and right guidance was given by Mo. “Just got back from an overnight stay with my 8 year old autistic son. My sons special interest is vehicles of any description, I mentioned this when booking the room and asked if we could possibly be overlooking either a road or train station. Our room was perfect, he was blown away, we could see trains, trams, buses cars the whole shabang! The staff were all phenomenal, friendly, helpful, understanding of my son and his needs, nothing has been too much trouble. We enjoyed the pool, had room service and ate at the breakfast buffet. All fantastic. I would recommend this hotel, the staff and location are perfect.”

“Fabulous place! Staff are so friendly, extremely clean and facilities so so lovely. Lots of machines to use in the gym as well as free weights, pool is always spotless and perfect temperature. All in all a lovely environment. Gym goers are friendly too and helpful, if you're new to the gym! Price of membership definitely worth it for the location and the facilities!”

“After 20 years away from ballet (and off pointe!), I decided to back to adult ballet about 20 kilos heavier and with horribly out of shape arches! Heather's studio is tucked away under a railway bridge so is a little noisy at times, but other than that, it's a gorgeous experience. Heather herself is gentle and sweet, super encouraging (not at all like Madame Pauline when I was young!) and the best thing is: THIS IS A FULLY DIVERSE, INCLUSIVE STUDIO! I wasn't the only person my age (40s), there were all genders (including trans and non-binary people) and ages and colours, which was lovely and welcoming. My class had a working dad in his 50s, who was just as comfy alongside me as the younger, fitter kids. Really loved it and if you can't make it to Salford, Heather offers online courses as well, which are just as challenging and fun!”
