“We have been here 3 times so far. The food is excellent. One of the best Indian restaurants that I have tried so far. The owner is very friendly and the price is great. We have tried their deal 5 courses for 15£. This place definitely worth a visit. Will definitely go Back.”

“Really nice guys and owners, especially the ones working at the back in the meat section. We were new to the area and came across their shop by chance. When we went in to ask them about their meat, they were kind enough to give us a free box of marinated chicken for stir fry. We’ve just cooked it now, and it was the best chicken stir fry we’ve ever had. Miles better than what you would get at a takeaway. Ingredients and spices were all fresh, none of the pre-packaged sauces or spices. More than happy to come back and buy our meat from here and definitely try other stuff too.”

“My favourite Indian restaurant in the area. It does not go for an upmarket "authentic" style rather this is honest good value "Indian" food aimed at British taste. BYOB a huge bonus. Some sound-absorbing soft wall coverings would help as (see other reviews) it can get very noisy. But fortunately not for us this last visit !”

“Came to try this indian takeaway for the first time last night. The chef was very friendly and the service efficient!! Had the most wonderful chicken patia which was a first time for me!! And I think this will be my new go to Indian takeaway my husband had garlic chicken. I will definitely be back.”

“Superb food, friendly helpful staff, what more could you ask for? Having not eaten here before we decided to try a few dishes and had the chicken pad Thai, chicken drunken noodles, spring rolls, prawn toast, spicy chicken wings and a king prawn dish whose name escapes me. Oh and prawn crackers with sweet chilli sauce. No complaints at all. The food was stunning and was devoured by the whole family. My daughter was caught off guard by how spicy the pad Thai was but she had a feast of everything else.”

“After reading other reviews I must say I'm shocked. I've used the CO-OP in its old location and here. I found the staff lovely and helpful. They never seem to stop, be it reloading shelves, getting uber orders ready or just cleaning the shop. They will always stop to help. (I my case usually to add milk to the coffee machine). It needs to be remembered that this is effectively a very busy local 'top-up' shop, not one where there is time to stand around. If you need to use the till, or need help with the self service, tell them. They are not mind readers but busy shop staff. The same staff who kept the shop running through the pandemic. I have seen first hand the grief they get. They truly are lovely people. Give them a chance.”

“I live locally and most of the staff also , very welcoming loyal staff who serve their community always happy to chat while serving you I couldn't fault any of them been like friends to me and everyone for years without these people some of us would be at a great loss .”

“Since my review below, management have reached out to me and have confirmed their cutlery and crockery is recyclable hence I will add another star to my review. Many thanks for response. Very interesting place for breakfast or lunch in Cheadle. This cafe is definitely a positive addition to the Cheadle community - making it feel more like some of the cafes in Didsbury. It is very clean and had a nice friendly atmosphere. The manegment adhere to the Jewish community, hence this cafe is closed on a Saturday. You will find lots of nice things on the menu and everything is well presented and clean as stated above. The reason I can't give this more than the 4 stars, is based on the disposable plates, knifes and forks and coffee / tea cups. I imagine on a good day this Cafe must go through a lot of disposable waste. Not sure if any of this is recyclable (but I have no proof) so effectively this cafe could contribute to world pollution (perhaps comments from management will put me right on this issue). It would be good to have notices saying the cutlery , crockery is all recyclable as this would get another star from me. And lastly but not leastly there is only one Vegan option on the menu. As we all know Veganism is on the rise and it is always good to have more Vegan options on the menu. On the other hand for the Jewish community it isn't an essential - but for the public it might be. In conclusion I would recommend this place as it gives a fresh look to the Cheadle community and it is clean. Worth a visit if you are in Cheadle.”

“We tried A Star pizza this evening and it was great. You can tell they only use great quality ingredients, definitely the best pizza and the only place well be going from now on. Good price as well. The guys are so lovely too and made a fuss of my little boy. There's also the option to eat in if you want. Thank you!”

Super friendly and welcoming staff and the tastiest vegan Indian food we've tried. The waiter even gave us the recipe for the drink that came with our thali because we loved it so much. “Having a large choice of Indian food in Cheadle village it could be difficult to choose which restaurant you would go to. Not anymore.....The food at Veeda was spectacular serving one of the best curries we've ever eaten. The food was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The service was impeccable and nothing was too much. We usually would go to another local Indian restaurant but we now have a new go too.”

“One of the yummiest juicey burger. Do try swiss cheese. Juicey beef with excellent blend of sauces and mushrooms. Added pictures after eating half of it because I forgot to take. It was so yummy. Very reasonable prices. You will never find such food in this price range. Free roadside parking for 1 hr. Quickly served. Not much place to sit inside but manageable for 8-10 people. Halal food .”
