“Amazing venue! The only place I found that do literally everything for you all within a very reasonable price! Booked in April for a surprise baby shower yesterday and it was perfect! The room was all decorated perfectly with the cutest little touches, Nat did the buffet for us which was lovely and fresh with a good variety of food! Bar was stocked with lots of different drinks & the bouncy castle was the best thing to keep the kids entertained and safe! Herself & dale literally couldn’t have done anymore for us! 10/10 experience & will definitely recommend! Thank you so much xxx”

“Just been. Nom nom nom very tasty! We had a single meat handi which was a tender lamb curry, a mixed salad, a cheese and chilli naan, and the tandoori mixed grill. All very good, there wasn't anything left on our plates. We're very full now. The Indian soundtrack was a bit erratic, it kept skipping and stopping, but the ambience was nice and plush, the food was tasty, and reasonably priced, and the bill came out really reasonable for 2 people who have eaten as much as they physically can- £38. It was so reasonable because we didn't buy drinks- they don't have an alcohol licence yet, so they let you BYOB! So we brought a few lagers, and they provided glasses. A very good evening. They do takeaway also, and cater events, and have a banqueting hall upstairs. It's a very big building the former Greaves Arms.”

“Great service from the guys at Usman Beds & Carpets. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We had visited many other bed shops and felt like we were being ripped off. Not the case at Usman bed ordered withing 20 minutes of getting there. Will post an update once delivered.”

“Very great experience. Alexandra park is very family friendly and the air is also very clean. There are hiking paths. Car park. A cafe for quick bites with lots of attractions for both adults and kids.”

“We booked the Daisyfield for a Confirmation party. They offered a cold buffet and a choice of hot pies. We choose a mixture of both and were very impressed with the high quality, portion sizes and value for money. The children had an absolute ball playing in garden to the rear. There were chickens and rabbits for them to see plus some play equipment. As it was Easter Sunday there was also a DJ and Easter egg hunt. All in all we were made to feel very welcome and great atmosphere. Good time was had by all. Thank you.”

“Supper Tasty halal food, we ordered mixed grilled platter for £25.50 which is very big size for the price and well enough for three people and taste is amazing good, and we also had houmous and a pizza and bubble tea and every thing was supper. The staff is very friendly and nice. Definitely recommend this place.”

“Visited on Saturday at around 2:30pm and was very pleased with the service. I was seated by Paige, who was exceptionally accommodating — her approach was impeccable. Even when a customer at the neighbouring table became verbally rude and, in my view, aggressive, Paige maintained her composure and handled the situation extremely well.”

“First trip to Oldham town centre for almost 50 years! Oldham road once had pubs on almost every corner as you headed there from Manchester City Centre, many from the long gone Oldham brewery. Madge fancied a trip on the Metro and we spotted this pub in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Well worth the trip for just this corner pub. A bank of ten real ales. Great vibe plus a front pavement seating area. Madge found a new Oldham brewery..We are Wolf. Bar snacks incl sausage rolls. Great visit.”

“Excellent micro tap bar inside the indoor market hall. Lovely bar spread across 3 market units of space inside Tommyfield indoor market hall, very cosy and comfy little bar. Good choices of alcohol/ale's, Drink prices are really good value and not expensive at all! Friendly bar staff and lovely customers who seem to very chatty and welcoming. You can easily strike up good conversation in this bar and make new friends. This place is very much welcomed in the indoor market hall bringing new customers and faces to a part of the market hall that was a bit empty, Please support this little bar and visit Cob and Coal.”

“'La Sensationale' Me and my partner have just been for the 1st time, and had a meal on a Saturday evening (6.00pm sitting). The place was packed when we walked in, so we thought that must be a good sign!? All courses were GORGEOUS and the portion sizes, although at first appearance seemed rather small, were actually just right! All staff that served us were lovely; very friendly and polite, which helped to make our visit feel extra special... This included the manageress who clearly runs a very well controlled operation as empty tables were cleared, cleaned and reset in a very fast and efficient manner! The place remained packed throughout our 2 hour stay, and we will definitely be returning very soon! A SPECIAL THANKS GOES TO MAGDALENA, WHO PROVIDED EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE THROUGHOUT!! “Amazing place- huge portion, flavour filled dishes which taste authentic and at great prices. A really unassuming place, very humble but this is what restaurants should be - the food should do the talking and the decor shouldn’t distract. I’ll be coming back here soon! The service was really friendly and though small, most tables were occupied on a weekday night and it had a great cosy vibe.”

Chris and his partner the owners really nice down to earth people, if your in Uppermill pls go find this lovely lil hidden cafe entrance is on the front and go downstairs really well appointed estab sit on the river and forget about the daily grind also some under canope seating if the weather's not the best.”
